Posted August 6, 200915 yr RC-class engines are Swedish company ASEA's most successful locomotive. Not less than 366pcs were built between 1967 and 1993. It is still the by far most common locomotive in Sweden, and is used both for freight and pasenger transport. It was also exported to USA and called, Amtrak class AEM7. Original colours were orange-white, but most engines later got a blue-red colour scheme. Below my attempts to create those fantastic engines in 6-wide. (as for all my engines...) Originals:
August 6, 200915 yr Very nice locomotives! You did a great job! This Swedish locomotive was also exported to Austria but as a slightly modified version. It proved to be very reliable on the many mountain railway routes. Here a pic: Source: http://www.lok-doctor.de/bilder/1043.jpg Edited August 6, 200915 yr by legotrainfan
August 6, 200915 yr Very nice rebuilt of the original. I do like the blue one most, but maybe that is a more personal thing. Very nice what you did in detailing the loc. I do mis however the doors on the blue one, or are they on the other side of the loc?

At this stage there are no doors on the blue engines, however it would be easy to modify them to have doors like the orange RC-4 engine.
August 15, 200915 yr I think it would look good to include the doors at the cabin front. Any how, I still like very much how it is at the moment.
October 25, 200915 yr Wow. The photo of the blue and red train was taken about two kilometers from my Legoratory. I love those trains. Nice MOC, too. How about X2000 as the next one?

How about X2000 as the next one? Well who knows....so far I've concidered it as too modern, i like the older engines better. Also a problem with X2000 is the streamline shape which is harder to copy in Lego. Did you see my Swedish DA engine as well ? Visit My Website Edited October 26, 200915 yr by Selander
