xwingyoda Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Guys, I was browsing through Brickshelf and I found this astounding minifig scale reproduction of the Harry S. Truman Aircraftcarrier. This is so out of this planet, there are no words to describe this beauty *wub* Here are some pics to illustrate Weebleleezer's art work The rest of this impressive work can be viewed here Enjoy ;) *yoda* Quote
KimT Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Must have taken forever to build :'( That is one awesome MOC *wub* I especially like those jet fighters KimT Quote
ImperialJohn Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I guess he is not to happy about the new grey *wacko* Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Man I would be happy if I could build a fighter like that *wub* Quote
snefroe Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 you're a bit late with this discovery, yoda. i believe i saw the first pics of this a few months back. he only had the rear section of the ship at that point, so i guess his goal is to build an entire aircraft carrier... Quote
tophdawg Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 wow i just noticed this that is impressive Quote
Vader Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 That ship sure is sweet, but i wonder how much it must of cost to build :o Quote
Lost Viking Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Wow, that is nice! I wish I had the time/money to do something like that! Quote
Deinonychus Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 HOLY SMOKES! :oo That's damn impressive, even if it is only the aft end of the ship, it's still a great representation of the ol' CVN-75. Everything right down to the aircraft and the deck crew are just fantastic. Kinda wish I could smack my Megabloks Nimitz and Kitty Hawk together into something that cool Quote
Athos Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Ehhhhhh... I'm not impressed. I bet it can't even float. ;) Steve, who is really very impressed. Quote
blueandwhite Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I guess he is not to happy about the new grey *wacko* He wouldn't be the only one :( . Still considering that his carrier is far from complete, the lack of classic grey must be killing him. Its getting hard to find basic bricks on bricklink at a good price! As for the carrier, it looks great. Later. Quote
Evil Willy Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 o wow...My goodness..that is soooooooo big. Amazing absolutley amazing! Quote
optimus-convoy Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Amazing! such detail, its just so... Beautiful :'(. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Very nice. All that grey would make for one hell of a castle. Quote
Hobbes Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Very nice. All that grey would make for one hell of a castle. That carrier is a castle. One that's swimming instead of "standing" on a mountain... ;) Quote
Hobbes Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I just noticed that Weebleleezer is a 1000steine member. He postet there that he's nearing the finish line, about 1-2 weeks to go. Over one year of building time, 150 kg of old grey bricks, a 4m long/1.4m wide/1.2m high model as a result, and a five-digit amount put into it :) Weebleleezer @1000steine.com Weebleleezer @Brickshelf (check the ebay screenshot in the "HarrySTruman" folder ) Quote
JoeMI6 Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 That looks so cool. I wish i had the time/money, but alas i do not, i'll just have to make do. It's a great project, kudos to the guy who did it. Quote
