Athos Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Here is my first entry for the CCC7. It belongs in the Eastern Life category. I created it mostly as an excuse to try out the texturing of the sand and the bonsai tree: The humble zen master grooms his garden, unaware of the ninja assassin waiting to strike. Legostein Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Hello! A lovely and lively little scene! I like the latern simply attached to the roof, as well as the many different plant pieces you used. The dark green gives it a special spot-on. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Wout Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 "Oh no! Look out Humble Zen Master!" I like this little moc very much especially the detail of the swiped place. Quote
Rick Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Peace and tranquility... nice little scene. Quote
Milan Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Nice and simple MOC, and very pleasant! I like its simplicity! Quote

Big Cam Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Very nice simple zen like state. My only suggestion is to remoe the ninja's sword, it kind of makes him stick out. Quote
WhiteFang Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I was searching for this topic in EB, when I browsed your folder over at Brickshelf. I must admit that I enjoyed viewing samurai related MOCs, and this scenery is very nicely designed, especially the way you laid out your tiles for the pavement, and arranging those bamboo shoots at the side of the pillars. A simple and beautiful piece of work. Quote
Ras 74 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I like your moc. Especially what you did with the 1x2 modded bricks to make it look like the Zen master worked around with the broom. A technic I will use to a moc I will do pretty soon as well. Good luck as well in the CCC7! Quote
