I know everyone and their grandmothers have made a Captain America minifig, but I thought I should give it a try anyway!

There are still many things I would like to modify on the fig. For one thing, I would need to reprimand Lego for not making any dark blue heads; I did a horrible paint job on a yellow head and couldn't match the color, so the head is a little darker tone than the rest of the fig.

The decals I think are fine, but I need to find a better way to apply the sticker to the shield; I made 8 cuts from the edge of the shield to the blue center, but it still mucks up, you can actually see each distinctive cut on the shield; there are 8 lines leading to the center, and I have no idea how to fix that. Maybe I should use a shield that's not as "round".

Finally, I would like to ask one question. The wings on his head, should I make them in Sculpey and glue them on, or should I just leave it the way it is?

Hope you enjoy!

Hey, that looks pretty cool actually :sweet:

Though, if I might say so: I'd add a little more white. I know that he has a little white around his elbows too (though I realize that might be hard to do  )

And I recall that the white-red thing on his lower chest (his belly, actually) goes up just a little bit higher.

And about the wings... I don't really know much about sculpey, but if you think the glue will hold it together nice enough, that you can't accidentally knock the wings of or anything... they're probably going to be rather small, I assume :classic:

Well, great work anyway, can't wait too see the rest of your figs
