Selander Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I just posted a review of my favorite lego fright train set 4564, and below follos a few pictures of alternative designs and colours as a tribute to this excellent set. Any comments are appreciated. Locomotive in grey and darkgrey. Complete alternative set. Darkgreen loco with original yellow loco. Quote
MightySlickPancake Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 The dark green is the best of the three but i will always have a soft spot for the yellow version - nice work keep it up Quote

lightningtiger Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I too like the dark green one, in some ways better colour than the cargo train of 2007. Like the access doors to engines also the drivers cabin - very nice indeed. Is it based purely on the old Lego one or is there realism in it too ? Great work 'Selander' ! Quote
peterab Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 I really like the grey one. Enough to check if I have all the parts, I'm pretty sure I do except for the cab doors. Quote
paul_delahaye Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Locomotive in grey and darkgrey. Lol, I thought at first you had just taken a picture of a regular 4564 train with the camera in black and white mode! Quote
Selander Posted January 6, 2010 Author Posted January 6, 2010 Lol, I thought at first you had just taken a picture of a regular 4564 train with the camera in black and white mode! No photoshopping ! It is made of real pieces for sure.... Quote
