I find myself checking the active topics like 10 minutes after I was just here, finding nothing new, and thinking "ahh man, now what am I gonna do"

I'm not a creepy old man, nor am I lazy.

I just happen to have alot of free time at work lately, and shoot even when I don't, I'm here.

I find it tough because the majority of the EB member base is in a way different timezone than me, so it's usually not quite as active when I'm on as say 1:00 AM my time. When of course I'm sleeping because I work at 7am.

So, are you an addict or do you just browse calmly not caring if something new might have happened and you might of missed it?

:sweet:

I guess being the first to reply here actually proves I'm addicted to Eurobricks. I'm having trouble deciding between '10+ times a day' and 'Big Cam log off'.

 Ya I see you around quite a bit, your much later than me (7 hours) but not as bad as some folks.

Where I come from funny poll options are a must. I never get to do that though, because mainly my polls on EB are for reviews. Plus I know someone is thinking it.

I guess I'm in the same league as you guys.

In total, I have about seven sites (of which 2 are forums) that I visit daily.

This one is always first (as it is my homepage  ) and then the others in no apparent following order.

But I'm always finished quit fast with the others, so I return here... usually there are new posts by then already, but not always in my topics of interest

And I do that about 15 times a day (I also have a lot of spare time on my hands  )

Greetings,

CF W

In the beginning, I visited like crazy (truly, even more then Big Cam, some will remember!)

I even had the 'most clicks on the board, most visits, most use of bandwith' etc., someone of the Staff told me back then  .

Currently only my average posts per day remind me of that.

Since then I however greatly reduced my activity since it really does take fewer and fewer time to read through threads and find the things I am interested in then it did back in my beginning days.

I also needed to invest more time into other things, including the Classic-Pirates blog, but even now I try to visit Eurobricks multiple times per day.

How many times? Sometimes every 15 minutes! Other days only once or twice...

Most people really will 'calm down' after some time... :classic:

When I have a free day, and am in a mood for MOCing, I am online the whole day, while building.

Otherwise, I am coming approx 5-10 times per day on EB.

Yes I can say I am addicted...funny as in a first few days when I saw this site, I was pretty uninterested...

The first sign was the EB picture showing up when opening a new tab on the browser. The second was that it kept climbing up as time was passing. Currently, it's at the top left meaning that it's the most visited site by me.

I think I'm addicted. :look:

Same here . Maybe you should change it to a multiple choice poll, Big Cam.

It's second to flickr for me.

Im addicted to EB but I just don't post that often. I just browse a lot so you all must think Im hardly on here. I am very lazy when it comes to writing some things. For instance 2 seconds ago I wrote this exact same message then went to the frontpage. Only to be back here re-writing that message.

I've settled down a lot since I first joined. My posting activity went down a lot for sure, and instead of frequenting every forum every visit, I usually stay within the Reviewers Academy, Star Wars, Wargames, and Community, except for when I'm anticipating replies to something I did or said.

Then again, I check any Mafia game thread every five minutes.

But yeah, for the most part, I'm not as active as I used to be.

EDIT: Oh, I usually click the "Active Topics" at the top of every EB page. Thanks for putting that there, Siggy.

1 to 3.

First thing in the morning I wake up, put my bed away and dress, then I plug in the wifi and settle down infront of cheesy cartoons with my laptop. I have three tabs on firefox: One for Lego, one for Webcomics and one for Blogs/News sites. I then read the webcomics that update, check the ones without a schedual and load Brothers Brick, then on to Eurobricks. I am online about an hour and a half in the morning.

After I get home from work I check my e-mail, any late updating webcomics and Eurobricks. That can be about half an hour to an hour. After that I do other stuff.

Then I go online at 9pm til 11pm and Eurobricks is always in my browser.

Not as bad as you guys.

I'm not even sure anymore. I don't even have to post, I just enjoy browsing the forums to see what's new.

Also, Big Cam, I now understand why 'your finger is glued to the report button,' although I think it should be the log off button.

I visit Eurobricks twice a day on normal school days (by that I mean non-early days or holidays), but each "session" is one hour long (5 PM - 6 PM and 9 PM - 10 PM, PST).

But on weekends, I check Eurobricks maybe 5 or more times a day, and I always get so bored when I don't see any new news, posts, or really interesting MOCs. When that happens, I usually just take a few hours break off of Eurobricks and play some video games.

And is it just me, or does anyone else sometimes get the feeling that there's some threads and discussions that you missed after reading almost every single new post on every single forum? :look:

Oh, and Big Cam, you really seem to be addicted to Eurobricks. Check my screencap of the top 20 posters on January 11th:

I decided to take a screenshot of that because I've never seen 56 posts by one person in 24 hours, and I knew I could use it someday.

EDIT: Big Cam strikes again, now with 66 posts in 24 hours!

I'm not sure if I should be worried or happy for you.

Log off? What's "log off"!? I... don't understand!!!

On a more serious note, yeah sure, I'm addicted. I follow Town, Trains, Pirates and Community very closely. I tend not to post too much, although I admit I tend to get long-winded when I actually do.

To be perfectly honest, I'm addicted to a lot more things on the Internet which have become everyday activities for me, but I love taking breaks from all computer-related stuff.

Oh *megabloks* yea!

Easily 10+. Or more like, I have EB open 24/7. Whenever I get time, I just update the site and check the interesting new topics...

However, I couldn´t resist but voting "Big Cam, seriously log off"... To my defense, the Force was strong with this one.

Maybe we could get Big Cam on that Intervention show (I think all top ten daily post counts belong to Big Cam). That would be pretty funny! I don't have an EB problem you're the one with the problem. I am in complete control. :pir-laugh:

I usually have it open on my computer most of the day and update the site when I can (some days loads and others not at all). I don't usually visit the site on the weekends. I try to post frequently as I think it sucks when someone spends weeks on a MOC and they get 10 responses and then someone posts a topic like this and it gets a million. I also don't really get the memebers who post all the time but as far as I can recall have never posted anything they have ever created with Lego...That's weird to me but to each their own.

I have a period of time between dinner and when I start reading whatever novel(s) I'm on at the moment where I just boodle about on the internet, cycling through a variety of websites (facebook, flickr, eurobricks, pointlesssites, unrelatedcaptions...) some of them get new content within the time period that I'm cycling, so I keep coming back to these after visting the others to see what's gone on, and Eurobricks is the main one. For that reason, I put 4-7 times, because I usually visit about five times during my boodling hour and then again before I go to bed.

I have an unhealthy internet addiction. Luckily (or unluckily?), Eurobricks is part of it. So I'm on here waaaaaaay more than 10 times a day.

Addictions... can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em... right?
