Admiral Croissant Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 A view from above: The cellar, where the croissants are being made: The cellar, from the opposite direction: The ground floor, this is the actual shop: The ground floor from the opposite direction, with a rather strange customer. And finally, an overall view: Thanks for viewing! Admiral Croissant Quote
Big Cam Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Very cool, I live the cellar and your view showing how low the cellar is, plus the roof, great work on the roof. Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Well, it's um...original... Nice idea Croissant, very clever work there. I like the idea of using steps to make a cellar and still have the main shop on the ground floor. And it gave me a good laugh. All round good MOC, A+ there buddy. Quote
Ryan_T Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Very cool, I live the cellar and your view showing how low the cellar is, plus the roof, great work on the roof. Live? need sleep? Whats with you and croissants Admiral Croissant? I just don't understand how you would even think about croissants! I mean.. Its not like its in your name or anything.. Im just pure confused. Anyway, I'd like a bakers dozen of Croissants, Admiral Croissant, from your fine croissant shop! Is croissant over used? (Yea, I like the MOC btw.. ) Quote
Admiral Red-Hair Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Thought it was ment to be a bakery and not a croissant shop. Nah, who doesn´t love croissants? It is vey nicely done and I espacially like your roof with the wood looking structure of it and the two different tones of brown. I also like the inside of the croissant shop with croissants everywere. Just one thing though, shouldn´t there be a chimney from the oven? Quote
Erdbeereis Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 A bakery makes croissants though. This is very nice. I simply love the roof, great work on that. Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted January 15, 2010 Author Posted January 15, 2010 (edited) Just one thing though, shouldn´t there be a chimney fromthe oven? There is, take a look at the upper-left corner of the cellar A bakery makes croissants though. This is very nice. I simply love the roof, great work on that. Thanks! And you couldn't see it on those pictures, but ofcourse you are one of the chefs Edited January 15, 2010 by Admiral Croissant Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 It looks like you know a thing or two about bakeries! Great job. I like how you gave it some elevation and dimension with the stone stairs outside. One of the best so far. Quote
Ratshot Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I love your bakery, it has a very "calm" feel to it I might use your roof design sometime. How many croissants do you own? Quote
Rick Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 The croissant chefs are great with their rollers and the dough. Nice job. Quote
badboytje88 Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 This is a very nice creation you got there. Very lovely indeed. I love the topview of this MOC! Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 That is an epic build Admiral! I can smell the croissants from here. I really like the building, the cellar in it is very nice. The chefs dealing with the dough are also nice. The structure is somewhat weird, stone-wood-stone, but I love the roof! But who is that weird customer? It seems to be they can smell your croissants even from Antartica! Great entry into the CPCB admiral! Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted January 16, 2010 Author Posted January 16, 2010 (edited) How many croissants do you own? If I wouldn't have lost two croissants at the Lego Event in Zwolle I would have had 9 by now So now I have 7 croissants (and still my 'tag'(?) says 'aka 1/2 croissant ) But who is that weird customer? It seems to be they can smell your croissants even from Antartica! Well, he used to be my evil genious He's called 'Runeteken' (Rune Character) I wanted to show him on this forum some time, so there he is (here you can also see his face: Click! ) Edited January 16, 2010 by Admiral Croissant Quote
Dr. Steve Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Great use of such a small space. I like the technique on the roof and the look of the front stairs GREAT JOB! Quote
Jack Bricker Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 (edited) Thought it was ment to be a bakery and not a croissant shop.Nah, who doesn´t love croissants? I don't like croissants. Arrg, I slit your throat if you don't make me some cookies. Arrgg Arr Arrg. Just kidding. I like it. It has a lot of detail and I like how you used the croissant rolls instead of trying to maked loaves of bread with bricks. You did a very nice job and I like the celler being used for the bakery. P.S. How many times has that croissant shop gotten robbed. Edited January 16, 2010 by bengun Quote
Dreamweb Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 That's a very good looking building! I especially like the idea with the cellar. Expect it to soon be... Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Now you've earned discount in the Croissant shop! Quote
