michaelozzie Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Here is my latest train moc. I decided to enlarge the previous green and white vossloh shunter and add doors and compartments. This is now in the Swiss SBB Cargo livery. These engines work on the north, south journey from Germany through to Italy. Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 AWESOME DIESEL TRAIN MOC ! Fantastic job 'Michealozzie' - right down to the cargo stickers on the side of the train ! I hope 'The Brickster' sees this - I think it's front page material indeed ! I'm a conformist! !!! Quote

Duq Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Why call it a shunter? I thought shunters were engines that work shunting yards or do short trips. In Europe this type of engine is often used to pull freight trains over long distances. Is this one slightly longer than the green/white one? Quote

These vossloh engines are used in many roles from shunting to long distance hauling. Quote
ZueriHB Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Nice one, see those all the time at work and stuff. It's really well done, can't say much more than praise. Quote
benny Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Wah! Very sharp locomotive. I like the color so much. I saw it in Switerland, your locomotive is nearly same as the real one. Quote
