YG-49 Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 (edited) (If this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it. ) Based on the first boss in the Ghostbusters videogame, Chef Sargossa wreaks havoc in the kitchen, throwing anything from knives to food (He didn't throw food in the game. ) at the Ghostbusters! Cheese graters, meat grinders, knives chicken! Any suggestions for more kitchen items? Birds-eye view: Chef Sargossa: Yeah, he was purple in the show/game, but LEGO refuses to make purple minifig parts, and Dr. D Zaster's head was too perfect! Edited July 2, 2011 by Rufus Indexed Quote
CommanderFox Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 A very nice MOC YG-49! Sargossa looks pretty menacing, but at the same time, kinda funny! I think you should maybe add some kitchen benchs or ovens, if you can do that. Looks great so far though! CommanderFox Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Who ya gonna call ?!?! Crazy ghost chef, he must be good at making sand-witches ! Fantastic MOC 'YG-49' and very FUNNY ! He would be perfect in Hell's Kitchen - Gordon R. would then really say WTF ? Great work and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
The Penguin Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 A very fine vig indeed! ) I'd remmend to clean the painted parts a bit, but overall it's very nice! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Quote
Legostein Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Hello! The hip construction looks very interesting. And the best thing is that those 1x1 slopes really stay fixed on the hip without non-lego methods. Great find! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Blackheart Brit Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 I love the ghosts non-legs but the kitchen needs a little more decor. Quote
Oky Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 I don't recall there being a Ghostbusters license, so I'd say this in the wrong place. Pretty cool vignette though. The figs and "flying" kitchen stuff is great, but the kitchen scene itself seems to be lacking a little. The dark grey gives it a nice spooky feel, but the wall is just too plain. A window and/or a crooked shelf would help. Quote
Svelte Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Oky Wan is correct - the Licensed forum is for *officially* Licensed themes, not dream ones - no matter how cool they would be Nice idea with the cheese! Quote
prateek Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Ooh, spooky! I love the look of the ghost, and the floating objects are a nice touch. It reminds me of Luigi's Mansion Quote
BlueBard Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Great! The way you've modified the head for making a ghostly chef is just priceless Quote
