Lego_Warlord_8 Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 (edited) Inspired by Sherlock Holmes "The Red-Headed League." Enjoy! ~SR~ EDIT: The title seems to be cut off... This is how it really goes: "Bring up the chisel and the bags and... Great Scott! Jump, Archie! Get away while I hold them off!" Edited July 2, 2011 by Rufus Indexed Quote
Tereglith Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Very nice! This is one of the best Holmes short stories, in my opinion and in that of Conan Doyle (it was second on his top 10 list), and you've done a great job bringing its climactic scene in LEGO. I especially like the tunnel and the figures you've created. Quote
RoryoCox Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Very Brilliant scene. I love the floor and the area underneath, it looks really cool. The way you hid the minifigures between the crates looks great as well. Also the stairs are well built. Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Are there any close-ups or different angles? I really like the tunnel and stairs. I also like how it's more open, it gives it a better feel. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Excellent MOC 'Lego_Warlord_8' - love the tunnel with the tools ! Great design and build...........really I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Hound Knight Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Ah, I remember this scene! Excellent recreation Lego_Warlord_8! Quote
Joey Lock Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Very nice! The Cellars a bit giant but still, Its nice! Quote
JimBee Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Fantastic MOC- just as I remember it from the movie/ short story. I like how the tunnel is sectioned away on the side, and I like how you livened the walls up with interesting stone work. The ceiling supports, stairs, and brick-built door are all nice touches as well. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Very nice! I love the tunnel. Good job on the crates as well, although I thought it was a scene from Indiana Jones at first. Quote
