Marin Stipković Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 (edited) This is so far my best MOC. For a short description and more pictures please go here. Thank You! Edited July 2, 2011 by Rufus Indexed Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 AWESOME roadster 'Marin Stipkovic' ! Excellent use of tiles to give a smooth finsh to the whole car - too COOL ! Is it based on a real late 20's early 30's car is it ? Great designing and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
fred67 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Very nice... what did you do to the roof to give it that coloring? Quote
Matija Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Sweet, very sweet indeed. I'm a sucker for oldtimers :) Very nice... what did you do to the roof to give it that coloring? Hm... he took a picture with some background reflection involved? :) Quote
Marin Stipković Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 Thanks, guys. The car isn't based on any real car, I just made it up. Funny thing is, when I started it, it wasn't even meant to be an oldtimer. And yes, the coloring of the roof is thanks to some shelves that were behind it when I took the picture(s). Quote
prateek Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 This is so far my best MOC. I agree! You got all the angles perfectly, and it looks so classy Quote
Guss Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Awesome ! I loooove it! so smooth , really well realized, love the colours scheme too Black for the bottem, black for the top, white in the middle, mhhh so great ^^ great build! Quote
BlueBard Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Wonderful job, really! All those curved designs and techniques are impressive Quote
Milan Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 That front shot is the best, imo! I like that -never used- techniques on you car. Is it too fragile? Quote
Batbrick Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Just brilliant! Love the way you've sloped the black bricks so effectively, and the whole thing is so perfectly in scale. I'm surprised at how well the flat roof works too, usually it looks a bit plain but it really works with the rest of the smooth design. Oh, and I'm very jealous of your building skills Batbrick Away! Marin Stipković Posted April 17, 2010 Author Posted April 17, 2010 Thanks, everyone. The whole car is not fragile except the rear bumper. That's the part that falls of every time I transport it (as it is holding on only two studs). Quote
Forneiro Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Amazing Classic. You have real good building skills. Thank you for sharing this! Quote
