daoudbazaar Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Jester Even better than the former one ! Set #7956 Theme: Kingdom Year Released: 2010 Piece Count: 25 New parts : Minifig torso and hat ! Printed parts : minifig torso and head (both sides) Minifig: 1 Price: Impulse price, between EUR 2.49 and 4.00 Bought last Wednesday in Paris. The box It’s a standard colourful Impulse set box. A nice picture of jester in action. I like the new Kingdom logo very much .. It'll surely be a hit. Nothing of interest on the top ... Nor on the back. Content Bag and instruction sheet The hat is packed in a separate bag, inside the main bag : Minifig Very good looking and well printed with its crowned belt. Both torso and head are printed on both sides. Great ! And with two flags and some slopes, this set is a real bargain to add some fun on your medieval market place ! TLG give us here an early Xmas ! legitimatealex Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Dear sir you have brought a wonderful light to my day and I am very happy. That Jester's smiling hopefully $2.50 face will brighten up my castle life. Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Thank you 'daoudbazaar' for an excellent review - nice clear photos - SWEET ! Best part of this set - the Jester himself - happy or sad faces - good one ! I agree it would fit nicely in the village won't it eh ? I'm a conformist! everyone ! Quote
Mac-K Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Thank you for the review daoudbazaar! This set is certainly worth picking up. I have to say though, that last picture of the jester is depressing as hell. Quote
WhiteFang Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Nice impulse set review. I will get this as well and it's great to see this new jester. Quote
Shroffy123 Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 The set looks great. BTW, where would one find the impulse sets in the States? Online, Lego Stores, toys r us? Thanks Quote
Admiral Ron Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Great review, I am so buying this when it hits the states :) Quote
Milan Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 I like that torso...nice review and fantastic photos! Quote
Euvor Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Great photos! It's always nice to have another jester (could be a long lost brother of the Crownies one ) Quote
Eskallon Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Thanks for the review, good pictures . I might get this set and it is small and of course cheap compared to the big sets. Quote
Ratshot Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 (edited) Thanks for this wonderful review, the clarity of your pics is top-notch. I'll probably buy 2-4 of these. $5.50 isn't a bad price so I should be able to afford them I'm not a teacher or anything but I've got a feeling you would do really good in the Reviewers Academy Edited May 8, 2010 by Ratshot Quote
Stiel Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Thanks for the good review with nice pictures! They are very 'appetizing', if you know what I mean. This set is definitely a must-buy, and probably a nice present for small kids (maybe even girls) in the family. Quote
Ras 74 Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Great impuls with a great fig in it! Definatley has to get at least one of these. Quote
BrickPerfection Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Thanks for sharing this review! Great pics! I quite like the two sided face. It's a great impulse for sure, however, I would have preferred something for army building like the Pirate impulses The chance to get an army of jesters isn't that high, so I doubt that people will buy more than a few two of these... Iain Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Great review - thanks for that. I've ordered mine from Lego.com, along with a few other things, which should hopefully arrive soon! Quote
