Tom Bricks Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 (edited) This is something I've wanted to build for a while- a WWI era biplane. It's not based of anything particular. More in Flickr Edited June 25, 2011 by Rufus Indexed Quote
Spyder Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Wow, it's so smooth and aerodynamic, it's hard to believe it's even Lego. You've got some nice SNOT there. Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 AWESOME really AWESOME ! Great SNOT job there 'Tom Bricks' ! I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Zepher Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Wow, it's so smooth and aerodynamic, it's hard to believe it's even Lego. You've got some nice SNOT there. I'm going to echo that post. Very sleek, very nice, the spots of detail are well done. The colors, epsceilly the stripes on the side, are well done! It's also blocky enough to have a certain classic Lego feel, witout it appeared too Lego like! Very well done! Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Well done, the rounded parts make it look almost cartoonish. ...You've got some nice SNOT there. You see? This is what you start to say if you become an _FOL. Quote
Tom Bricks Posted May 10, 2010 Author Posted May 10, 2010 Thanks. I was almost going for a cartoony feel because I got the idea to build it from the Peanuts Comics where Snoopy flies in these kind of planes. Quote
Duq Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 The wings seem kinda thick but I really like the overall look of the plane. Quote
Dreamweb Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 It does have a cartoony look. In fact it reminds me of the plane from Duck Tales: Unfortunately I couldn't find a better picture, but I'm pretty sure the plane was originally red, not grey like the one shown here. Great job! Quote
Milan Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Its so cute! color is perfect and the roundness is greatly done. Very fine model! Quote
Big Cam Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Great MOC, I love the rounded fuselage. Red baron attacks! Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Fantastic Biplane you captured it very well with great colors too. Quote
