Shadows Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 THIS TOPIC IS FOR THE AUDIENCE ONLY. PLAYERS SHOULD NOT POST HERE... morons. As it was written, "One day the Nizam shall rise again and bring upon the land a great disaster. Many will die as they attempt to reclaim control of the Sands of Time." This is that story. News of the situation in Persia spread far and wide, traveling like sand in the wind and soon becoming the topic of conversation in all of the surrounding lands. This is your place to get in on that. Non players may post here and speculate on who is Nizam, who isn't, who will die next, who won't, who is sleeping with whom, what colour their underwear is, or anything else you want! Chat, speculate, accuse, go wild! At the end, a few lucky chatters will receive prizes for their gossiping efforts. CHAT IT UP! The more you post (but don't spam!), the more chances to win! JimBee Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Alright, so let's take a look at the facts here. Shadows invites every single EB member to join here, yet he said that only the 52 players would be able to. Suspicious! Maybe he has PMd the 10,000+ members, and all of them are Nazim. He is a building an army, and we must stop it before it is too late! Also, he says that all 52 of us have three night actions each. Now, unless he stays up all night calculating who blocks, kills, etc. who, there is probably some sort of trick here. There's no way everything can be calculated, so maybe it's a trap. Maybe, no one has received a potato message saying they're a Nazim. Maybe if you use your night actions, you turn into one! ... I do not like being played like this. Everyone, if you want to live, DO NOT send in you're night actions! DO NOT! And, I Vote: Shadows/ Nutcase
Ricecracker Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 You really have gone crazy, huh Shadows? I'm going to Kill: JimButcher Protect: Shadows Block: Shaows I want to see how this plays out
JimBee Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Kill: JimButcherProtect: Shadows Block: Shaows Hey, look! You can't do that! You see this, everyone? Our first Nazim has revealed himself, by openly admitting that he plans to use his night actions! Please, I need someone to protect me so that our sanity lives on!
Dannylonglegs Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Vote: Shadows/ Nutcase Well, It's obvious here who the nutcase is...You! Haven't we all learned to trust what Shadows says as the-truth-and-nothing-but-it by playing with him in Mafia games galore?! How could Shadows ever lie to us? and Ricecracker, Who's this Shaows...Interesting....Very Interesting........ ~Insectoid Aristocrat Persian Aristocrat
Shadows Posted May 10, 2010 Author Posted May 10, 2010 I'll just ignore the moron players who posted in the audience topic. I really will. Or I'll kill them tonight. Either way. Let's try this again. NO PLAYERS ALLOWED IN THIS TOPIC!
Minxter Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Hmm. There something with Defs spongy smile that makes me suspicious. And his strange pants are so ugly. He must be Nizam! And he´s going to kill JimB. Minxter
Minxter Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Who isn't? True All I know is that there´s going to be corpses tomorrow . Minxter
CMP Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 There's something suspicious about the camels, methinks...they keep going missing, and I'm alreayd dead! Unless my ghost is still killing them, that's weird. They seem to pop up in almost every cause of death as well... As it seems, some people's masks of deception and sanity seem to be slipping. I think the targeting tonight will be much more accurate.
JimBee Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Okay, so I hope you folks don't mind talking to dead people. "You must go to the lighthouse!" ... So, what's happening? I'm pretty sure the cracker of rice tried to protect me last night (and maybe some others, the great voice in the sky makes the term "mob" a little unclear). But how come he wasn't successful? Does one protection really equal one kill, and one kill only? Or did the voice mean it when he said "the faster you send a potato, the better chance it has of working"? If so, what determines how well they work? Do I ask too many questions for a dead guy? Hmm, foolish, the living are. EDIT (yes, I can edit as much as I want for once! I'm already dead!): I am no longer the moron who posted here.
Shadows Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 But how come he wasn't successful? Does one protection really equal one kill, and one kill only? The conclusion actually made that clear. Your protectors turned to run because they were outnumbered. After applying all blocks, more people tried to kill than protect you. If each protect canceled a kill, there would still be a killer left. Get it? Or did the voice mean it when he said "the faster you send a potato, the better chance it has of working"? If so, what determines how well they work? It determines how ties and close calls are decided. In the case of a tie, first one in wins. It also has another slight effect, but I'm not explaining that.

After applying all blocks, more people tried to kill than protect you. If each protect canceled a kill, there would still be a killer left. Get it? Yes, sir. At least I know someone loved me. It determines how ties and close calls are decided. In the case of a tie, first one in wins. It also has another slight effect, but I'm not explaining that. So, say I lived in Australia, and I happened to go to sleep when the day starts...
Shadows Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 So, say I lived in Australia, and I happened to go to sleep when the day starts... Sucks to be you?
CMP Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 There's something screwy 'bout them mods...and that does indeed suck for you, JimButcher.
The Legonater Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 For the benefit of the living, how exsactly to traps work? Do the Nizam set them, or is it just you killing us at random?
JimBee Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 The great Vizier or whatever you call him hinted that there are indeed clues in the narrative of the night actions. I didn't bother reading all of it thoroughly, but I think the remaining players should pay close attention to how the night actions played out. E.g. who was protected, who was killed, etc.
CMP Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 True, Jim. I'm still a bit confused as to how I died, as well. The person I wanted to kill knows about my death.
The Legonater Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Am I the only one thinking that people are saying Nizam food is delicious?
Minxter Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 (edited) Def is still alive! Nizam? Anyway how come they havn´t killed even one Nizam. Minxter Edited May 14, 2010 by Minxter
Dragonator Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Quite clearly, killing off the famous and well acquainted merchant was a bad idea.
Rick Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Quite clearly, killing off the famous and well acquainted merchant was a bad idea. ... but fun
Dannylonglegs Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 (edited) ... but fun Et tu Brute' ? Well Now I'm dead, so I can join the living, I'm kind of surprized that even with EVERYONE killing the good guys are still unable to touch the Nizam. Obviously they are protecting each other, so the single vote cannot touch them, but still, 50 vs 5? Wow, we they suck. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited May 14, 2010 by Dannylonglegs
The Legonater Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 I- personally- think they're on to something with the whoe Lefty's-the-only-Nizam thing. It's the kind of thing Shadows would do, and it explains the no-Nizam kills.
