Posted May 10, 201014 yr Okay, its a A5 Juggenaut - but still to small and harmless with weak axles. So I decided to "Pimp your turbo tank" and build a small scene around it. After weeks of fighting, a heavy recon unit consisting of 2 AT-RT and an A5 had to stop because of a technical problem with one of the A5's wheels. A Laat/i dropped a small recovery unit and some ammunition. Because they were still in the hot zone, the unit had to provide cover for this operation. To defend themselves against airraids, the rotating heavy laser was manned and the gunner had to scan the skies for any fighter or gunship. As they detected an enemy drone, one of the AA rockets was fired.... Later on, the Anti-Armor Rockets were refilled - with its full payload of 20 rockets. The troop compartment was cleaned and food supplies were added... .. and both cockpits were checked: (mainly used for command and navigation) (mainly used as a "war room") Finally, after hours of repairing, the A5 was ready to rumble again...
May 10, 201014 yr I love your changes and the scene was equally entertaining. Its crazy, most of us can't even buy this yet and its getting modded to look better!
May 10, 201014 yr AWESOME MOD's 'jansued' - not sure if I will be able to buy one of these so I can try some of your tricks - to 'Trick-Your-Turbotank' ! Love the turret, say hello to my little friend Seperatists ! Great work and I'm a conformist! !
May 10, 201014 yr Beautiful. Would it be possible to get some more shots of this? It looks like you've done more but it's hard to get a sense of just how much!
May 11, 201014 yr Nice MOD´s Jansued. Especialy likes the rocket launcher on the sides of it. The scenery around is also very funny and nicely done. There is a focus of details, but in the background things is happening as well or vise versa. Very nice! I also think that this transport needs some modifications. Can´t wait til I get my hands on my own so I can do that.
May 11, 201014 yr I haven't seen much of this set, so I'm not sure what's extra and what's not. Using my own guesses, I have to say that this looks really great and detailed with loads of clever mods. The scene as a whole looks very nice too. Keep up the good work, jansued!
August 27, 201014 yr Great mod. I'm bummed that I bought the A5 jaggernaut the day that I saw the 2011 pics. I was doubtful in lego figure detailing and I was proved wrong. The figures look great with some concerns. ( Sorry, I'm getting off topic) Edited August 27, 201014 yr by Pre Visla
December 23, 201014 yr I remember seeing this, very nice mods jansued! Looks alot better, and the interior looks roomier. CF
December 23, 201014 yr This is real cool Why did you bump a topic from August to say absolutely nothing? Nice job! Much better than the lego released version Yeah that might be, but why did you follow a bumpin' without really adding anything to the topic? I remember seeing this, very nice mods jansued! Looks alot better, and the interior looks roomier. CF You remember seeing this? And still you too followed the bumpin'? Santa wont be bringing you guys much but coal this year!
December 23, 201014 yr KimT, is it OK to bump a topic if you add to it? If you say no I'll edit this post I like your MODs, especially the red misseles that come out of the side. I'm not so sure about the missiles that come out the top. The heavy gun is great, corresponds better to the real thing. I also like the cockpits, lego always goes light on controls, but you clearly don't! It doesn't seem like this holds troops, as much as it does guns, how many men can fit in there?
