Millennium Falcon's Escape From Death Star

I tried to build the scene, where Lando escapes from the explosion, after attacking the Death Star.

I didn't had much parts to create the scene perfectly, but I tried to get the best out of my parts.

The biggest problem, that I didn't have any trans yellow/red parts, so I skipped to recreate the fireball. I hope, some of You still like it. :)

Thank You! :) I solved the pic problem, but still can't the topic name. :(

The Falcon is not the offical set, but I used the printed parts. I hope it is a MOC, and it is acceptable.

I love this idea, and you pulled it off pretty well, I just find myself wishing there was more fire and red/orange bricks.

Yes You are right, that is the weakest point in it. I have none of these parts. :(

Very nice! The only thing I'd add is trans yellow and red and orange, but since you said you didn't have any, it's okay.

Removing the 1x6 plates is a very very very minor modification and alteration.

I would do a brand new one if I were you, but still it's not the 'real' set and it's allowed as an entry.

Some people might not vote for this entry though, because they might think you're too close to the original.

Sorry, it's just that that was one rule that I sort of disagreed with. I know, I just wanted to have two STAPs flying around in my Kashyyyk entry. That's all, I wasn't trying to be rude. I still appreciate you and TLC for making this contest possible.

I have to agree, the Falcon is near-identical to the original mini. And the rest isn't quite the best representation.

It's an ok entry, I like your unique choice of scene, not that epic but you managed to capture the overall scene quite well. Best of luck in the competition!
