I've had this sitting on my desk collecting dust for over 2 weeks now, and I finally decided to finish it. It's a 36x36 depicting when the Rebel's send in the T-47's to defend the base from the Empire. The main point of this MOC was to make a display for my 7130 re-make. I had a great time making this MOC, and I would love to take on Hoth on a much larger scale in the future.

This looks very detailed. The Snowspeeder, the turret, even the floor of the trench.

Nice way of creating muzzle flashes for the rifles as well.

I've seen a lot (as in a lot) of Hoth-based MOCs lately, and I must say this has got to be one of the best I've seen so far. I think you got the right amount of details and true proportions for the Snowspeeder, Atgar Cannon, and even the rebels' rifles. The positioning of the Snowspeeder coming from behind the rebels' trench is very nicely done and reminds me of the actual scene in the movie. And the best part for me are not even the ship, rebels, or weapons, but the snow! The use of slopes and tiles give the snow a smooth and very realistic look. Overall amazing job 501st Commando.:thumbup::thumbup:

A really great MOC here. The T 47 and the Atgar cannon are very nice but the snow and trench make this for me. The slopes and tiling are placed perfectly IMO. Great job!

Excellent MOC! That turret weapon is great and detailed, the trench is spot on and the Snowspeeder is sweet!

Love to see how you tackle Hoth on a larger scale.
