FROGG Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 (edited) The tree and trunk are made entirely out of basic bricks, i added some landscaping to the bottom area by the roots. A couple more pics are here. Edited June 15, 2011 by Rufus Indexed Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Nice and simple build FROGG. I like how you used the two shades of green for the leaves and the uneven surface of the tree bark. The whole build maybe simple, but it is easily recognizable and beautiful in its simple state. Nice job! Quote
Plastic Nurak Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 I like it . I'm trying to build a big LEGO oak, but I've a lack of brown and green pieces . Quote
TheWarden Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 /me likes this. You might not have any, but perhaps dark green and green instead of green and lime green? Less color contrast might look better here. Quote
FROGG Posted September 5, 2010 Author Posted September 5, 2010 I was originally going to use dark green instead of lime green. I ordered set 6177 wanting some dark green pieces, but it turns out the website is wrong, the set only has lime green and regular green so i was stuck with those colors. Quote
