Solscud007 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) Saw this at Walmart here in New Jersey. Im not sure how the lights are activated but if I bang the box around, it turns on. Here is what is says on the bottom of the box. Edited September 13, 2010 by Solscud007 Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Another nice find 'Solscud007', I haven't seen one of these displays in Oz yet. I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) Usually it's a hidden motion sensor in a hole in the cardboard. If the Walmart employees forgot to punch out the hole, then the motion sensor can't see people in front of it, but shaking the box should wobble it enough to activate. prateek Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Nice display, but IMO, it's a bit bare. Quote
SSJ2 Dark Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Wait, so Walmart lets you beat on their Lego display, and lets you tip the display around to take pictures of the bottom of it? Maybe they need a security guard to protect it. Quote

JimBee Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 This is a neat little display, it may be worth something in the future if you happen to buy it somehow. And while we're on the subject, does anyone know if there's a diorama or collection of all of the official Hoth sets? I'm trying to assemble them all myself, but I would love to see what they all look like together. (Echo Base, BPs, Super BP w/ Taun Taun, Wampa Cave, new AT-AT). Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Nice and simple Hoth display. Nothing spectacular but the Hoth snowy background does it for me, I'm thinking of putting these types of realistic backgrounds on my lego display shelves. Quote
TheWarden Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Fun. If you like these, Toys R Us usually has 5-6 similar displays. At least mine does. They often have nobs that rotate things. Target has 2-3 similar displays. At least mine does... etc. Quote
Masked Builder Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 That's cool lookin. But I like the one my Toys"R"Us has better... Quote
