Hound Knight Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Inspired by '80s's Petra album covers. The shape is based on a guitar in case you didn't notice. Enjoy! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Very nice ship Hound Knight! I love the unique guitar-shaped design and the sleek wings. The pilot looks dashingly cool too. Great job! Quote
Artanis I Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Very Petra. Nice variation on the Futuron minifig! Quote
RTHKI Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I skimmed past your text to look at the pics and it took me a bit to realize it was the shape of a guitar I really like it but I think the wings are too wide and detract from the guitar look. Quote
Gryth^shAde Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 I like--simply because of the Petra reference. But really, it's a sweet ship. Especially cuz' you didn't just copy the cover. Quote
Legostein Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Hello! The frets and machine heads are instantly recognizable! Besides the musical touch (and I also think the pilot looks like a guitar-playing rockstar), it's a nice space-ship as well. The rounded trans-blue cockpit window goes along well with the rockets. Maybe you could narrow the gap bewteen and add a sixth one to indicate the six guitar strings. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Dino_Bot Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 This is one of the most unorthodox ships I have ever seen. Quote
bricked one Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Nice, I'll be looking forward to seeing flying guitars. Where do those arm guards come from, they're really cool. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 AWESOME a heavily armed intergalactic guitar 'Hound Knight' ! And are Petra still together ? Great work anyway, congrats on being front paged and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Dan the Brickman Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 "Captain, Im picking up some strange sub-space frequencies."-Star Trek Its definitely unusual. I think the arm of the guitar should be little longer, but its not bad really. And yes, the pilot is cool. Aaaaaaaaaaaand, on the brand new Dan-Scale... You score: :classic: * *4 smiley's and a skeptic. Quote
Masked Builder Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Nice! I really like the guitar them of the ship. Where do those arm guards come from, they're really cool. Brickforge. Quote
splatman Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 (edited) Petra indeed. More power to ya! It looks very well... Captured. In time and space. It's truly Not of this World! Petra hung up their amps in '06 or so. And Secret Weapon is a song on their Unseen Power album. Please, do more Petra-themed MOCs. God Gave Rock And Roll To You! Edit to add this update: Petra got back together and put out a new album: Back To The Rock. Check out their website: http://www.classicpetra.com/ Edited August 24, 2011 by splatman Quote
Big Cam Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I was wondering about teh oddity at the nose of the ship, but the guitarr piece ties it all together. I love your pilot, it's not often you see a classic space torso with a newer head and hair. I like the combo. Quote
Mesjax Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Nice, I'll be looking forward to seeing flying guitars. Where do those arm guards come from, they're really cool. One word: Brickforge. A few more words: they make sweet guitar, drumstick and electric guitar pieces now. Quote
