Eínon Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 (edited) Hello everyone. After much work, I have finally finished the new bomber for my Air Force. This is the VL-327 Raven (Crow), a four engine bomber capable of flying at Mach 1 and equipped with two defensive towers (one dorsal and one in the tail), and two arms fixed in front, to attack ships. Note the curious shape of the wing, broken twice, designed to improve the stability of the plane at high speeds. In his time, it was often seen in the skies above the -Imperial Town- large formations of "Corvos" escorted by many "Trovão" fighters. The enemy ships feared the aircraft, which was capable of flying at sea level without being detected by radar. My folder I hope you like Eínon Edited June 7, 2011 by Rufus Indexed Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Very interesting design on the wings Einon, it looks too narrow for a relatively big plane but hey, I guess it works just fine (just look how it bombed that aircraft carrier ) And impressive photo-editing once again. Quote

It´s really fun to use photoshop. Everyone should try it. The wings look very thin, but in reality they are quite resistant (and require a surprising amount of plates). The plane was based on the Blohm und Voss P.188 jet bomber. You can find more about this plane in the website Luft46. Eínon Quote
