tin7_creations Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) I've been filling in characters for my Harry Potter minifigs recently; and I have made figs for all four Triwizard Champions more or less based on the LEGO Harry Potter Year 1-4 Game. All the outfits for the minifigs are for their Third Task competition in the Maze. Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) The decals are my own design; LEGO made this torso piece too, however, there's a slight difference from the film. In the film, the lettering on Harry's back is in bright red, while LEGO made it in gold. Therefore, I changed it! I also prefer Harry with this hair. Cedric Diggory (Robert Pattinson) This is the same uniform worn by Harry, except in yellow, and with Diggory on the back. I used a Han Solo head, and Mutt's hair. It turns out, the combination looks exactly like the one used in LEGO Harry Potter Years: 1-4! Fleur Delacour (Clémence Poésy) For Fleur, I used Princess Tamina's face, with tan ponytail! It looks very similar to her appearance in the game. Viktor Krum (Stanislav Ianevski) I never had the original Mermaid Rescue set, so I had to recreate the Viktor Krum torso. The Triwizard Champions! There has also been a lack of casual torsos for some of the characters already created by LEGO; I have made my own designs based on photographs from past and upcoming films Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) For Hermione's casual torso, I replicated one of her outfits from the upcoming film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1. Her hair is pulled backed in the photo to show the print on her back. Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis) Neville's outfit is based off of the one he wore in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Instead of the zip jacket, I took the knit pattern and used it on a vest instead. Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) Draco's outfit is based on the one he wore in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I hope everyone enjoyed this post, I will post more in future dates! Link to batch 2010-10-21: The Weasley Family Edited December 7, 2010 by tin7_creations Quote
ADHO15 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Wow! Perfect HP figs, tin7! Not a one that dissapoints! Your decals are so detailed and professional. They look just like official figs! Great work! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Impressive customs as always tin7, great job! You're doing a great service to Lego HP fans filling out the missing characters. Fluer looks pretty, while Neville's face is spot-on! Keep it up! Quote
ADHO15 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Neville's face is spot-on! Isn't that just the official Neville's head part? Quote
It All Ends Here Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 WOW! There are really nice! You have made an excellent job! Quote
Piratedave84 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Neville's shirt is purely amazing, this decal could be used is numerous applications. The quality of your decals and minifigs is astounding good sir!!!! Keep up the excellent work!!! Pirate Quote
Izzy Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Wow those look amazing, especially Fleur! That combination works really really well. I HATE the hair piece used for Victor, I'm sure that LEGO could come up with a better 'shaved' head. That one is so terrible. Doesn't look anything like this his hair, it would work well for Crabbe but not Krum. Quote
Matn Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 You never fail to impress me, tin7! I love your new custom figures. The new torsos are very detailed and good looking, but they match perfectly with the LEGO style of torsos. Cedric and Fleur look so good, great combinations for the head. And the casual clothing looks so perfectly done, wonderful job! Quote
Lord Embo Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Nice work once again! Seriously though, why haven't Fleur and Cedric been made into figures? On Neville's face, it looks too much like a rabbit's face with the teeth as well as Wormtail's and also Mad Hatter's from Batman. Lord Embo Quote
Morgan19 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Oooo... Fleur and Hermione are superb; Hermione's decal in particular is awesome! Your female figures make me wish LEGO did more of them. Excellent work. m19 Quote
Lord Embo Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 (edited) Cedric Diggory This is the same uniform worn by Harry, except in yellow, and with Diggory on the back. I used a Han Solo head, and Mutt's hair. It turns out, the combination looks exactly like the one used in LEGO Harry Potter Years: 1-4! Brilliant! I love that Cedric Diggory you've done! I've made my own Quidditch version, but I've used the Imperial Officer from the 2010 Snowtrooper Battle Pack's face and Han Solo's hair and it looks nowhere near as good as your version does! Morgan19 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 That isn't a Han Solo head! I have one of those and they look nothing like your version! It's Han Solo from the new Slave 1: m19 Quote
CommanderFox Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Ahh, wonderful customs as always Tin7! Diggory and Fleur are I think the best, but Harry isn't far behind! Krum looks alittle bland, but he did wear bland clothes in the movie, anyways you've done a good job on the front detailes. Now, Hermione is..just...wow! The detailes on her torso is perfect! Really good job creating decals for her. Neville's torso decals are really good aswell. Draco also looks really good. Great job with them all! Looking forward to seeing more! CF Quote
Lord Embo Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 (edited) It's Han Solo from the new Slave 1: m19 My bad. I haven't seen the new Slave 1 up close yet; I thought Han had the same head in it as he did in the Battle of Endor! Lord Embo Edited October 30, 2010 by Lord Embo Quote
robuko Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 As always tin7, your customs are fantastic! Especially Hermione and Draco. Great stuff Robuko Quote
Lord Embo Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 (edited) How'd you make them? Anyways, those are so accurate! Keep 'em coming! Lord Embo Edited October 30, 2010 by Lord Embo Quote
Sirius Black Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 If you dont mind my asking, could you upload the torso decals for these minifigs? I would appreciate Fleur's torso print, and the other triwizard champions' prints, if possible. If you could do that, i would be grateful! Brilliant designs for the figures! Sirius Quote
Lord Embo Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Darn! I was going to ask the same question! But yeah, these decals would be greatly appreciated, especially for Cedric, who is one of my favourite Harry Potter characters. Of course, they would all be useful one way or another. Lord Embo Quote
I Scream Clone Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Beautiful work Tin7, love the Triwizard Diggory. Quote
Lord Embo Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Cedric is definetly the best, but all of them will still prove useful in MOCs or Brickfilms. I hope to see more. Lord Embo Quote
Vindicare Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Wow, you continue to amaze! Excellent likenesses you've done. I too especially like your casual Hermoine, it's nice to see her not in Ginnys clothes. Quote
Baylego Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Awesome! I can't believe some of these haven't been made into minfigs yet by TLG. Quote
