I like it! It's great for a first MOC. Maybe you should say a few sentences about a background or story, I like seeing the reason for the 'secrecy'. Maybe that's just me, but other then that it's good! :classic:

Hello, Ingrimm, welcome to Eurobricks!

That is very neat, and as a first MOC it's impressive.

I can only make one suggestion and that is not on the building side of it but on the photography side; your lighting cast a very sharp shadow across the tree and obscures parts of the scene, I suggest using what's called 3-point lighting when you set this up: there's an excellent tutorial by Hinckley in the General discussion section under tutorials and "Photographing Lego"

I like you choice of minifigs, is there a back-story? I'm a conformist! :sweet:

I didn't have a real story around that scene. I only had a very cliché-background in mind, about two noble families which are at feud with each other and therefore their children have to meet in private.

My only light was the sun and my camera is that from my mobile phone.

I read the tutorial you told me and I hope that I can arrange some better lightsources for my next MOC.

Nice MOC and Welcome Back! :classic:

I'm happy all of you like my vignette.

I must say that's a really very good MOC especially for your first one in 20 years Ingrimm! There's no doubting you have good building skills as proven by the nicely-built black tree and the brick-built birds. The vig also depicts the "secret meeting (of two lovers?) perfectly well. Great job on this one and hope to see more creations from you in the near future! default_thumbup.gif

That's very good and the vegetation is cool too!

But you need to take better photos... Yes, light is important, and mobile phone = fail. (for a mobile phone, those photos are very good, by the way).
