WesternOutlaw Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Hi All: I spend the better half of Sunday re-working my Train Town to make room for a few new sets, as well as giving the entire Town a good dusting. Wow! I didn't realize how bad the dust was, until I started cleaning the green road plates and roofs of the Modular sets. I ended up taking just about every set off the table to re-arrange the layout and came up with something that accomodates just about all my recent City/Town sets. Unfortunately, I did have to lose the water and harbor area - but the plus was Town Plan is back. Unfortunately, with the expanded town area, I've only got a single loop running with the Emerald, but she sure looks clean with her dusted boiler. So, it's a simple layout, but it looks a lot larger when actually seen, Train Town 7: I like the split between the two corner Modulars with space for my Mexican Church. Quote
Davey Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Looks great Brickster! I love the design of the church in the center. I really love your Train Town designs. Keep 'em coming! -Davey Quote
BillytheKid Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Looks good to see those 4 big houses in one layout. And that emerald train is the set which belows to the houses of lego. To mine opinion the church can be a little bigger. It looks so small compared with those 4 houses. Even the emerald looks awesome big. You have more pic's of your church? It looks a good design form that pic. Quote
Bob Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I love everything except for the positioning of the Church. It doesn't really fit in between the huge modular buildings, I'd recommend moving it towards another part of the town. It just doesn't seem right in between the taller buildings, unless it's taller itself. The buildings are also turning, as well, which is why I'd recommend putting a street there or something. Everything else is really nice, though! Great job! Quote
