Posted December 24, 201014 yr To start out the review here is pic of my recent order of Brickarms: [half of these are for a friend] I was very happy with the shipping time and the packaging. Here is my entire BA collection. Will Chapman, who makes Brickarms, does an excellent job making them as high quality like Lego as he can. M4 Carbine, M203, and U-Clip M4: 9/10 Great design, Will did a great job on this but it doesn't have as much detail as his newer products. Still one of my favorite guns M203: 8/10 Will also did a great job on this but when you mount it under a gun it hangs a little low rather than directly under the barrel like the real thing. U-Clip: 7.5/10 Will came up with the u-clip which now other custom weapon suppliers are trying to copy. An amazing design but sometimes the clip is a little loose and the plastic can break off if you try to tighten it by squeezing the sides together to tighten it. Still a great piece. M1917 M1917: 10/10 Looks just like the real thing. Not much else to say other than it has a trigger which is a plus for me. MGL and Monopod MGL: 10/10 A great weapon that is very detailed and has removable drum. Monopod: 8/10 Same problems as the U-Clip but I love using it as a foregrip. M1 Garand, Ammo Clip, and M1 Steel Pot M1 Garand: 10/10 Looks like the real thing plus it is in brown which is great because the M1 Carbine isn't. Ammo Clip: 10/10 It's simple and it works. Not much more to say about this one. M1 Steel Pot: 8/10 Great color but covers the eyebrows when pushed all the way down on the head. However, you can rest it a little above if you don't push all the way down AK-47 and Longslide Pistol AK-47: 9/10 Great job making it look like the original but, just like the M4, it lacks some of that detail that it would get now if Will designed it today. All in all a great gun. Longslide: 9/10 I have MODed mine to make it look like a Desert Eagle which is great because all you have to do is cut off the scope. 9/10 because you can't buy it without the scope. Space Assault Rifle and Space Magnum SAR: 9.5/10 Looks a lot like the ones in HALO. Coincidence?? ;) SM: 9.5/10 ^ Same as above ^ Energy Pistols Energy Pistols: 10/10 Looks great in solid purple and you don't have to pay $20 for the premium version. Combat PDW and Combat Shotgun PDW: 8.5/10 Obviously the P90 which Will based this weapon on doesn't have a pistol grip, but there's no way you can design a grippable P90 for a minifig with the same kind of grip. Also, the size of the weapon is about the right size in ratio to a minifig, but lego guns have always seemed to be on the larger size in comparison, so the PDW doesn't always fit in next to other Lego guns. Combat Shotgun: 9/10 Great looking gun by itself, but it looks awkward for a minifig to hold a shotgun without two hands. PSG-1 Sniper Rifle PSG-1: 9/10 Will got all the detail of this weapon down but it doesn't have the glossy finish of newer weapons and the grip is a little loose in a minifig hand. Heavy Space Rifle and Machette HSR: 9/10 Great job on the weapon, I don't know exactly what the original gun looked like, but as far as I know it's pretty accurate to the design of the one in GoW. Great for mounting stuff underneath the barrel with a U-Clip. Machete: 10/10 Another simple design that was perfectly executed. M1 Bazooka and M6 Rocket Bazooka: 9.5/10 Looks great but could use a drilled out core. I guess I could always do it myself, but It'd be nice if they came that way. M6 Rocket: 10/10 Looks just like the rounds used in the Bazooka during WW2. Not much else to say. Silenced Spy Pistol Silenced Spy Pistol: 10/10 Looks just like what I would expect. RPG RPG: 7/10 Looks more like a Panzerfaust than a RPG. [This was supposed to double as both] I would like to see Will make a BA Reborn of the RPG-7. MG-42 and Stahlhelm MG-42: 10/10 I love this weapon and I'm very happy Will surprised us with and ammo drum! Stahlhelm: 9/10 Looks great on minifigs except it seems just a bit shorter and stockier than it should. PPsh and Modern Combat Helmet PPsh: 10/10 Just like the U-Clip and Monopod, the drum is a bit loose on the gun if you take it on and off. Other than that it's great! MCH: 9/10 Perfect except it is a little tight on minifig heads. Freebies! [Green RPG and Christmas Camoized Combat Shotgun and M21 Sniper] Freebies: 10/10 Perfect because they're free!! Thank you Will!! Hope you enjoyed my review! EDIT: Here's a link to my flickr. Teaser: Look out Gotham... Batman has Brickarms! Edited December 24, 201014 yr by Commander Assassin
December 24, 201014 yr Thanks for sharing this review Commander Assassin! Seeing these custom weapons held by the minifigs makes me appreciate them more. Judging from the pics it sure does look that these customs are of the same high quality as standard Lego pieces. I think I really need to grab some of these now.

January 20, 201114 yr I live near this store called Funky Toys and they have Brickarms, now you made me want to buy some
January 22, 201114 yr A top notch review. One thing I may suggest is building a light box for better and also more professional photographs.
January 23, 201114 yr The weapons from brickarms are awesome, the utensils from Brickforge are awesome as well! They make a fine and ultimate addition to all Lego pieces! I would recommend you to paint the weapons like I did. You can see it here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=48665

The weapons from brickarms are awesome, the utensils from Brickforge are awesome as well! They make a fine and ultimate addition to all Lego pieces! Thanks everbody! One thing I may suggest is building a light box for better and also more professional photographs. I have thought about that and I might make one in the future, but for now I am pretty happy with what I have come up with even if they don't look as good as they could if I used a lighting box. March 16, 201113 yr Author Good review! Those camo guns look sweet . Thanks! They are sweet, to notch quality too. Good review, but there's really no need for a bump... Thanks, I bumped it because I wanted a few more replies for the time I put into it.

I can uderstand you want a better feedback for your efforts, but using this method will only bring more touble onto you. Next time, try to make a positive post which adds something to the topic, and not just one like this: *BUMP* I hope you get my message.
