Igoran Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) And so. Today I became the owner of this remarkable set. It is already my second review. And now I represent to you: The Review of a set #7914 "Mandalorian Battle Pack" The Article: 7914 Quantity of details: 68 Quantity of minifigs: 4 Year of release: 2011 The price: 11.99 (0.18$ / a detail) Full weight: 90 g The description: Brickset . BrickLink The Box and its contents By tradition it is begun with a box Box at us the small sizes. On it fighting group Mandalorian going into battle is represented. From above the Logo "LEGO Star Wars". More low: an age category, the article, the name. In the left bottom corner the Mandarolian soldier is represented. Photo for comparison: . Behind a box fight between Group Mandalorian and Group of Clones (7913) is represented all figures of a set are represented: It is sideways represented figures in scale 1:1. Now we pass to box contents. We open it: Also we look that there at us. The box is filled only half! It is insulting... :( Well, and now pour out contents. Also what there? Two bags: big both small, and the small instruction: The instruction repeats drawing from a box. We release details from bags: Basically here details of dark blue and gray colors. Together they perfectly are in harmony! Here also have finished with a box and its contents and we pass to other, important part of a set. Namely... Minifigures In their set four. Fine soldiers-mandalorian with identical persons. We look: With minifigures have familiarized, now we start to collect technics. Assemblage Glajder We collect mandalorian glajder. Assemblage hasn't made the slightest work. After that. As we have collected глайдер and have planted there brave soldier Mandalora - we collect other part of a set. The Tourist's fur-tree Assemblage have finished and now all group in alertness! Ekstra of a detail. In their set whole five! Results: Set pluses: Reasonable price. Technics. Minifigures. Gameability. Set minuses: The gun at a tourist's fur-tree is unsteady. I consider that this set should be at everyone collector Star Wars! After all such, a set for such the prices will fill up any collection! Stardusty Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Great pics and great review. I'll buy only 2 of these sets, because I like clones more. Maybe some of the pictures are to bright. Quote
Cutty Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) Thanks for that review there! Thankfully these "Mandalorians" (whatever type of venereal disease that may be ;-) ) look generic enough to be incorporated into a classic-space setup. Maybe as special forces or specialised personnel. I imagine they'd even look fancy upon switching some torso-designs and arm/leg-colours. The rest of the set is thankfully comprised of more useful parts, so there's no set-back in these. Maybe I'll get one or two copies of these, should I restart building something more "spacey". Be well all! Cutty Edited January 4, 2011 by Cutty Quote

prateek Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Thanks for this review, but the Clone BP is still much better Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Nice review Igoran, thanks for sharing your view on this set. I agree with the others, the Clone BP is much better but it's a fairly decent set, it's not just fit to be an army-builder type of BP since I think few people would actually want to build an army of Death watch Mandos. Brickdoctor Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 I think few people would actually want to build an army of Death watch Mandos. Agreed. This is almost the Assassin Pack all over again. Quote
