Basically, I built the vignette to show off my biggest, baddest, complicated-est Forestman pose yet. Everything else was just tacked on. The name comes from the skeleton in Spartan helmet that you can just see lying in the tree, continuing my theme of Forestmen vs. Spartans. Whether this scene has anything to do with warfare is up to you.

I spent the good part of the day trying to pose this Forestman. He uses the pneumatic tube from my other vigs to hold the bow. The tube then also holds into place the ends of a red rubber band that goes down one side of the torso, through both legs, through itself, and then up the other side of the torso. A light bley antenna is tucked against the left leg to keep the body upright.

Excellent vig 'Brickdoctor', not only are you great at SW, dam good at castle too !

I feel sorry for the forestman on the ground - ouch the way his legs are !

Nice posing indeed, it could probably do with a little more to break up the grey cliff face though. Nice to see you having a few goes at Castle Brickdoctor.

Thanks. I agree, rock work (actually, landscaping in general) is definitely one of my weaker points; I much prefer angular shapes like those of most spacecraft. I'm working on it. :classic:

I disagree so far as the rock is concerned, but thanks.

You've been on a castle-themed MOC roll recently Doc eh? (and you even have a new castle Brickdoctor logo ). Another quality vignette, and your knack for minifig posing is clearly evident on this one. I see your patented 'detached legs technique' coupled with the tube arms make those two effective poses (archer and climber). Nice work as always!

Thanks. I've actually used that logo for all my Castle creations, all the way back to the Stone Well.

That is some pretty badass posing if I do say so myself. I think you should add light to the rocky side, so we can see more details of the cliff.

What do you mean? That I should add light bley? Or that I should brighten it up? Believe me, that's all there is to see. And the back side is all smooth.

This is definitely the coolest of all of your Mocs. I really really like what you've done to the archer. Hopefully you'll continue the series. :classic:

Really? Cooler than the UCS STAP and SNOT T-47?

Excellent MOC Brickdoctor! The posing of the minifigs is outstanding. The scenery is also well-designed and realistic looking. :classic:

Very well done.
