Cecilie Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 I created this Chibi landspeeder for Luke for the ongoing contest over at FBTB. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 It's so...cute! Like a go-cart. Only thing is there might be a td too much dk.red; maybe if you did the sides in plates and tiles from the windscreen back combined with 1x4 brackets (to add a half-plate width). Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 That's too COOL, I had a little chuckle and closer look too......excellent mini speeder, but what no room for Obi Wan or the droids ? Excellent work and may the brick be with you 'Cecilie' ! Quote
R5-N2 Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 This Landspeeder needs more soup to grow up Very nice work Quote
Artizan Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 love the idea, IMO two trans cheese slopes would be better for windscreen. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Aww, isn't that cute... I love the overall smooth finish, nice work and thanks for contributing to the SW forum Cecilie! Quote
Cecilie Posted January 19, 2011 Author Posted January 19, 2011 Thanks for the nice comments guys It's so...cute! Like a go-cart. Only thing is there might be a td too much dk.red; maybe if you did the sides in plates and tiles from the windscreen back combined with 1x4 brackets (to add a half-plate width). Yeah, might be a bit too much dark red, I'm struggling a bit to be able to "think" at this scale . I might try that, cause I should listen to the experts, right? but what no room for Obi Wan or the droids ? Sadly, no This Landspeeder needs more soup to grow up It sure does! IMO two trans cheese slopes would be better for windscreen. I tried that, but it just didn't look right, too bulky imo. and thanks for contributing to the SW forum Cecilie! Yeah, I'm mostly a lurker in the SW forum... Gotta do something about that Quote

I might try that, cause I should listen to the experts, right? If I can be considered an expert. I think it would make it better with the thinner red stripes. Quote
Masked Builder Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Cute! You definitely nailed the overall shape. Looks like a great entry to me! Quote
