gcanik Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 A MOC I made for my son to use with his LEGO Star Wars Hoth playsets. A bit of history of the laser canonnon. Manufactured by the Atgar SpaceDefense Coroporation, it is a 2.8 meter tall anti-vehicle weapon introduced in the Clone Wars. The Rebel Alliance used it in the Battle of Hoth as it performed well in rugged terrain and extremely cold temperatures. It was usually operated by a crew of four though could be operated by a skeleton crew of two personal. Enjoy. Quote
Flare Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Excellent design, this cannon looks very accurate Nice work. Quote
Stephen C. Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I love the improvement on LEGO's design. Great job! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Very nice. I think the control arm thingy is a tad too big, and the frontal armor might be the wrong shape, but it's bearely noticeable. Great job. Quote
Praiter Yed Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I'm not sure if the 'control arm thingy' is too big or not - it's just nice to see it included, many MOCs seem to miss this out (as did TLG). Nice Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Looks great! I've seen numerous Atgar Cannon MOCs before and it's always nice to see the different building approach from various builders. That control arm mechanism is a good added detail. Nice work gcanik! Quote
