Hi, me asgain, wanted to share my crab Droid MOC. Pretty simple build over-all, yet I've taking a liking to it  . Enjoy!!

Hey, looking good! This is very accurate, but for some reason I don't think its scaled (correct me if im wrong) but other then that I think its an A+ job! It's really cool and I look forward to seeing more in the future! :sweet:

Nice moc! I've been trying to make one of these for a while.

Okay I'll correct you  . Crab droids came in different sizes, ranged from 3 feet to 20 feet tall.

The more you know! Well then its great to say that not only does this moc look appealing but it is accurate as well!

Very nice! The body is very complicated, yet the legs are so simple and effective. Two thumbs up from me

I challenge that and give it three thumbs up :thumbup:

I really like this a lot, I think the use of those huge brown slopes for the legs is quite accurate looking at this reference image of the crab droid. I think to improve this I suggest you include the three claw-like protrusions on top of the brown legs. Add some brown plating/tile on top of the body too. But so far, this already a good starting model, well done!

Yeah, you see the piece on top of the body? I'm gonna use brown ones of those on the 2x2 studded area on top of the large brown slopes. Thanks!

A tad blocky and simplistic, but I like it. :classic:

It's just a prototype model, which I will improve.

I challenge that and give it three thumbs up :thumbup:

Thanks Sok! Yes, there is a Mudcracker, which is what we see in ROTS, and a much larger trailblazer, named in the dictionary.

After watching the Clone Wars cartoon, I started liking all the funny droids running/rolling/stomping around, this was one of my favorites, looks good! Though I agree, needs more details, looking forward to updates (and to building my own version :D )

Oh yeah, looks more like a spider than a crab right now xD

Thanks, Dr, yes I'll incorporate more details after I give those BL sellers some business.

Excellent piece of designing there 'brickartist', nicely detailed and quite evil looking !

Great work and may the Sith Brick be with you ! :vader:

Thanks Lightning! :classic:

Very nice work  It looks very accurate to me.

Thanks Flare! It's relatively accurate, but I still need to include more details.

Looks good! You definitely nailed the over all shape. I like the simplicity here. Any idea of how tall it is?

Thanks, It's about 10 studs tall. :classic:

It's simple yet effective!

Maybe you could replace the brown legs with brickbuild ones or tile them, but that's just a thought.

Thanks! As I described to Kiel, I'm going to put the same piece I used on the back of the body on-top of those studs. The studs are a bit ugly.
