DoubleT Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Hi again What do you think of the New Exoforce set 7713? Quote
hewkii9 Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Like it. White Lightning is pretty nice, and the Bridge Walker is pretty good too. Love the red spiky hair. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Here are the pictures, so we don't need to go back to the other thread to see them. :-) http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/dash1812...orce/bwvwl2.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/dash1812...force/bwvwl.jpg Quote
Skinny Boy Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 The 'Break-away' shoulders on White Lightning are a nice feature, but I don't really like the disc shooter on his arm. It makes him look bigger. ;-) Quote
Shakar Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 I don't care much for White Lightning. But I really want Bridge Walker. It's big, sturdy, looks great and has good colours. So,I like the set very much. Anyone knows when it comes out? Shakar Quote
natelite Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 brickset says fall 2006. probably in time for christmas 2006. at least for north america it will be. so make sure everyone knows it's in your wish list!!! visit santa more!!! Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 I don't like the black/lime color scheme. It looks well constructed though, but I wish it'd be in yellow or orange ;-) Quote
MattZitron Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 I like both the Mecha's, but I have to say I prefer the second models on the back of the box! I like how they're keeping the sub theme of some vehicles being just big droids themselves. Like in Battlestar Galactica! So this'll be a TRU exclusive? And does anyone from the UK find it funny that White Lightening is also a brand of Cider; drank by both Hobos and Naughty School Kids alike! Quote
Kahgarak Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 It looks like a great set.I'm not sure if i like the double gun antenna things on top of WL,but the breakoff armor looks cool. And Bridge Walker is sweet. You all know why. X-D Quote
Starwars4J Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 I like them for the most part, but aside from the disk launcher, shouldn't Mecha One be protected a little more? :-| I mean he is the leader ;-) Looks easy enough to fix though, and it they both look rather tough, great set. Quote

If we're to take the Battlestar Galactica theory, Mecha One isn't worried because the minute he's destroyed he's downloaded into a shiny new body. Quote
natelite Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 i agree. all the robot's mechs are ridiculously vulnerable. definitely needed some modding to fix. Quote
JoeMI6 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 I like the fact that Hayato gets a nice new mech, he's been crying out for a bigger one than Gate Defender for some time X-D. I'm liking the Bridge Walker design too, but for some reason I prefer Striking Venom. The way the BW is built seems good, but in my mind it's not a very natural way to construct something. Only more pics will tell. Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Easily summed up. --It's a great source of black parts that are used for GOOD weaponry on mocs. --The initial part of the leg coming off the giant mech's body look REALLY flimsy. --My personal favorite mecha color scheme, black with neon green, is somehow not all that cool looking due to a severe lack of green being distributed correctly. And the pieces that are green are too tiny. Quote
Darth_Ewok Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 white lightning is ok. But the bridge walker... awesome 8- Quote
phoinix Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 ok so first of all to be honest i dont care much for exo-force! :-P but i think lego has done a great job here! They created characters without bying another license and they really sell well!! My 29 year old brother hasnt bought lego since he was 10 and now he has 3 exo sets!! ;-) the bridge walker looks amazing so much detail and not <insert that tiresome argument> at all!! *sweet* im not the target group for this set and i will probaply never buy exo-force but i have to say..well done lego!! and thats not something i say often these days!!! *sad* Quote
dillthepill Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 *y* *y* *y* Yea, it's cool enough to get three thumbs up. The White Lightning has a cool design like the guns and armor, but the Bridge Walker is awesome! I like the way the cockpit is formed and how the robots operate the arms. It also has a cool combination of colors. ;-) dillthepill Quote
ReZourceman Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 --The initial part of the leg coming off the giant mech's body look REALLY flimsy. Dont worry, I have it and it is not flimsy at all! :-) Quote
Zarkan Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 What I think? Awesome. Simply awesome. This is easily looking to be one of the best kits of the exo-force line, if not one of the best of the year. True, white lightning may be a bit plain, but I particulary like the gatling guns and smooth shape and armor. And bridge walker? Beyond awesome. The huge bulk and great detal (not to mention wicked weapons) make it really impressive. Now all I have to do is decide wethier to get this, the 2005 police station, more bionicle, or something else. Oh, the pain of decision making.... :'-( X-D ~~END~~ Quote
dillthepill Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 I now have it and I must say that it is the best Exo-Force set by far. Read about it in my review. Quote
