MarcoB Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Noticed that when signing in, site asks for username and password, but it is the email what it needs. Maybe it should be corrected: Username/password > Email address/password. Quote
Siegfried Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 No, it's "username"; I just re-logged in to be 100% sure. It just accepts both. (I tested that too.) Do remember that your Display Name is not the same as your Log In Name. Quote
MarcoB Posted March 2, 2011 Author Posted March 2, 2011 Do remember that your Display Name is not the same as your Log In Name. Log in name? OK, didn't know that. Thanks! Quote
Big Cam Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Correct, you chose your login name and display name when you join. I chose to have then both be the same, makes things easy. Quote
CommanderFox Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Correct, you chose your login name and display name when you join. I chose to have then both be the same, makes things easy. Yeah same. It just gets annoying trying to remember what your login name is when you want to quickly sign into EB. CF Quote
Aanchir Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 I just had some trouble logging in, not for this reason but because I couldn't remember my password (the thing I thought was my password didn't actually work, so I guess it wasn't). I did the password recovery thing so I could get logged back on, but now I want to change my password to something other than the random string of numbers it gives me. How do I do that? Do I have to PM an admin, or what? Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I didn't want to start a new topic, but couldn't find a topic where this question was obviously answered or where the question would fit better. Quote
Rick Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Under 'Edit my profile' (accessible from your profile page), on the 'Setting' tab, there is an option to change your password. Quote
mikey Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Click on your name on the top right of the screen, you will have 'My Settings' option, get into that than on the left you have series of options, changing password is one of them. Quote
