prateek Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Awesome! I love this teaser shot. Can't wait for the rest as I've got a gut feeling it will be epic! Quote
TheDesuComplex Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Very nice. The perfect circle made with Snot is very fitting for what was seen in 300. However, I'd suggest putting some black bricks in the bottom of the hole to really make it seem bottomless. The idea with using the alternating studs and plates to create a cobblestone texture was very nice too. Also, on the figs: The Persian needs a different face. I wouldn't be that happy if i were falling down a 20-meter hole. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Very promising teaser shot! Excellent technique on the circular pit, I'm certainly looking forward for the rest of this diorama. Quote
WhiteFang Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Very nicely done! I could imagine the movie scene right in my mind and what you have done was a very good rendition. Looking forward to more. Quote
Abaddon127 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Nice work, I really like that movie, and wish I could get my hands on at least one Spartan. Quote

Derfel Cadarn Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Very cool, and deffinitly one of the most infamous scenes of that film. Look forward to seeing the rest of this creation! Quote
Scorpiox Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) I never saw this film but can't wait for this MOC! I like the floor design and the figs are cool, may I ask how you made the perfect circle for the pit? I only picked up one spartan but this makes me wish I had got more... Ratshot Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 This looks very promising! I can tell that the figs are going to be very good. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Looks like a good beginning! The only suggestion I have would be to color grade your hole arches: start with light bley then dark bley then black. Quote
CommanderFox Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Haha! That had to be the best part of the whole movie. It was also pretty random. Anyway, great teaser! I look forward to the rest! kisses for the men, and hi-fives for the ladies. CF Quote

Excellent technique on the circular pit, I'm certainly looking forward for the rest of this diorama. Found another way to make use of those arches! Very nicely done! I could imagine the movie scene right in my mind and what you have done was a very good rendition. Looking forward to more. Surprisingly I just found them at a retail store. AWESOME so far 'ACPin', the rest will of course be AWESOME as well....again you are the master of action MOC's...wherever it would be thousands of years ago or lightyears away ! Brick On 'ACPin' ! Very cool, and deffinitly one of the most infamous scenes of that film. Look forward to seeing the rest of this creation! Maybe another week to go. I never saw this film but can't wait for this MOC! I like the floor design and the figs are cool, may I ask how you made the perfect circle for the pit? I only picked up one spartan but this makes me wish I had got more... The circle is made up of four quarter arches stacked 12 deep. This looks very promising! I can tell that the figs are going to be very good. Some PoP minifigs are in this MOC. Looks like a good beginning! The only suggestion I have would be to color grade your hole arches: start with light bley then dark bley then black. Not yet done, still building on it. Very Nice Look forward to seeing the rest Next week or so. Haha! That had to be the best part of the whole movie. It was also pretty random. Anyway, great teaser! BrickPerfection Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Very interesting teaser! It's really great TLG made the Spartan in there series 2 wave and you're using them very well! It's also very obvious in this MOC that Sparta was a hard, brutal place and hence created the toughest warriors at the time! Quote
ACPin Posted March 17, 2011 Author Posted March 17, 2011 All done, go see the completed MOC! AC Quote
