Lasse D Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) See last post for latest version This is a MAN TGS 8x4 in classic Model Team scale 1:25. Video on youtube: It is remotely controlled using Power Functions. The drum turns independent of everything else. There are PF lights both in the front and back, so a lot of wires had to be hidden: The doors can open, slide be turned and the seats are adjustable. The battery box can be replaced by a white canister for display/GBC mode. The original: Brickshelf folder with more pictures. Edited August 9, 2011 by Lasse D Quote
Ricecracker Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 What do you mean you build slowly? Very nice, as always. I particularly like the drum. Quote
dolittle Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 This is my son love, cement trucks (no idea why ), if would be wonderful if you could make building instructions for this. Are you willing? I am also willing to invest money in this (payable via paypal). Thanks, Noam Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Amazing Job! I see a few city stickers. Quote
Lasse D Posted March 24, 2011 Author Posted March 24, 2011 Thanks guys. Here is an additional rear shot. > Ricecracker It has been about a year since last time I presented a truck. I would call that slow. This truck alone took 2 months to build. > mahjqa Cheers > dolittle The problem with instructions is that they still take a lot of time to make, and I mostly receive negative feedback from them. I prefer to value looks over durability, so I get a lot of complaints about stability (and even more of "where can I buy parts?"). It typically takes me about a year to finish building instructions for a small truck because I only build virtually during travel. > Fuzzylegobricks More than the one? Quote
grohl Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 The idea of using it as a GBC module is just brilliant and on top of that it looks and moves really cool. Quote
jovel Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) Great looking model! I also love the fact that it can be used as a GBC module. Edited March 24, 2011 by jovel Quote
I Scream Clone Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Including remote controlled and rotating drum just lifts this above and beyond a normal LEGO Moc, well done mate. Quote
Princess Muttonchops Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Awesome job Lasse D, to cram so many functions into such a tidy, good-looking package, that's amazing. Quote
sverre Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Great MOC!! Love the integration to a GBC collage. Quote
bricky300 Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 The function As an gbc module is just great. Quote
TooMuchDew Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Wow Lasse, this is great! Great color, modeling (especially the stripes on the mixer) and functions. The fact that it doubles as a GBC module makes this double-WIN! Quote
cambookpro Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Amazing. You should seriously consider making some instructions... I'd build it! Quote
brickmack Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Nice. Probably the best functions I have seen in a MOC. Lots of nice detail. Quote
otterlilly Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Awesome build! I love the detail of the truck, the back, front, and the drum! Color scheme is beautiful, too. Look forward to seeing more amazing designs from you! :-) Quote
