74louloute Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 This car, a Renault Juva 4 (original release around 1930') was restored by my father since 5 years. This is a little tribute to his work, and a preview of a futur MOC I'm working on. It was a real challenge to build a realistic car in minifig scale, and in Dark Blue ! I'm quite happy with the result. Here is a link to the original car to allow comparison : http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4221578 Thanks for watching. Quote
gotoAndLego Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 That looks great. Perfect wheel/tire choice. Thumbs up!!! Quote
brickyrob Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Very nice job 74louloute! Made me smile, when I saw it! Very Impressive, considering the limited brick range in that shade of blue. (The link dos'nt appear to be working tho) Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Another retrò car style this evening! This vehicle is well realized and the fascinating woman is really lovely! Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Front view....very nice, side view....AWESOME - a beautiful classic vehicle with a spot perfect French Madame or is it Mademoiselle ? Excellent work '74louloute' and Brick On the French way ! Quote
Gregorovich Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Very nice and realistic looking car you've built, 74louloute! It looks like the real thing, but it's also just as I imagine LEGO would make it. Well done! Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Perfect job 74louloute! I think you have nailed the wheels and the windscreen is just awesome. It will be nice to see your coming soon, big Moc! Great job. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Amazing use of those curves 74louloute! And here I am thinking that such curvaceous types of vehicles cannot be built in minifig-scale, but you really proved me wrong. (You've certainly given me an idea on how to make a classic VW Beetle in minifig-scale ). A really fantastic job on this one! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Great Renault MOC Very classy, and such an elegant color. Very good work here Quote
henryhotspurs Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Absolutely elegant and judicious use of bricks. Bravo! Quote
