Legomaster34 Posted April 11, 2011 Author Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) Darn it! I hit the reply button instead of the edit button. Sorry. Edited April 11, 2011 by Legomaster34 Quote
Brickthing Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Keep these coming, especially the LDD Heroes! Webs 2.0 is certainly my favourite, because of the well-incorporated brick-built guns. You should try branching away from the basic Hero design though, such as making Villains, creatures, larger Heroes or even vehicles. Are you aware of LDD's Extended Mode? I ask because you've only used pieces in existing colours, while the Extended Mode allows you to use many more colours. Unless of course you intend to make some of these out of real bricks, which would be fabulous. Quote
ZORK64 Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Small 2.0, Soar 2.0 and Fried 2.0 are definitely my favourites of the bunch. Since you used the regular colours... is it actually possible to purchase them? Quote
Zarkan Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Webs 2.0 is the only one of these I can really say blew me away, but you've done a good job overall. However, this topic unfortunately illustrates how limited the hero customizer currently is, especially in regards to possible color schemes. Once TLC (hopefully) adds exclusive colors, Hero Recon will be much cooler in my eyes. Quote
Legomaster34 Posted April 19, 2011 Author Posted April 19, 2011 @Brickthing:Even though the they look simple, the guns accually took a while to think of. I've taken your advice and I've started making villians, and I may start building creatures and vehicles, as you suggested, but I might not get around to it because I'm building Hogwarts on LDD right now(which you can check out in the Liscensed forum ), but rest assured, I will build more. Yes I am aware of LDD's Extended Mode, but as you said earlier, I plan to build them out of real bricks, but I might not for a little while. @ZORK64:I really like those three, too. To answer your question, yes, it is possible to purchase them. @Zarkan:Everybody really seems to like Webs. I am hoping that when 3.0 heroes come out LDD will be updated with those pieces. Then I can make heroes with new color schemes. Quote
Jagersmann Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 You have a really weird taste in colors... Quote
Legomaster34 Posted April 27, 2011 Author Posted April 27, 2011 You have a really weird taste in colors... How so? Do you have any suggestions as to how I could improve the colors, for future heroes? Quote
Jagersmann Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Well, I don't wanna make you change your ideas, I think that the colors purple 'n' yellow are not the best, but Evo is a cool set. Anyway, I think that in general the colors are good, but there are some heroes the color combination is not the best, like Agile, Jetpack or Archer, you should try with combinations with "friendly" colors, like red-yellow, blue-white, you know, but I think that you should choose a team of heroes, or two, because I see to many heroes... Riza1234 Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I like the archer. Nice. My favorite is Fried 2.0. But I think you should've named him "Fired 2.0". My favorite is Fried 2.0. Whoops. How did that post twice? :P Quote

I have been trying to make each hero unique, and that goes for colors too, but I will try some of your suggested colors. And about having no teams, I want the team names to be letters in the Roman alphabet (Zeta, Alpha, ect.) and I don't know many. I like the archer. Nice. My favorite is Fried 2.0. And about Fried (It's a girl, by the way ;)) I thought it sounded better then Fired.:P I've finally gotten LDD Extended mode, so I will post more unique heroes, including some 3.0. krystalKING Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 I can help with the name problem, letters from the greek alphabet that I call right off the top of my head are: alpha, beta, delta, and my team (I only have the team leader built,Samantha darkflame.) omega. Quote
Aanchir Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 I can help with the name problem, letters from the greek alphabet that I call right off the top of my head are: alpha, beta, delta, and my team (I only have the team leader built,Samantha darkflame.) omega. Well, there are plenty of teams mentioned on the Hero Factory website's Past Missions section, including Delta 9 Team, Epsilon 4 Team, Mu 19 Team, Rho 3 Team, and Rho 14 Team. There are lots of other Greek letters to choose from, including gamma, kappa, eta, sigma, etc (Here's the Wikipedia page for the Greek alphabet, and here's the list of known teams on HS01). And there are other teams that have been mentioned that don't even follow that naming convention, like Sierra team (probably from the NATO phonetic alphabet) and Zed 4 Team (from the last letter of the Latin alphabet, according to the British pronunciation).
