I am pleased to present my latest build in my series of fantasy MOC's.

I decided to tackle the goblin faction this time:

The Goblin Menace:

1304106717m_DISPLAY.jpg

Three centuries ago the Tasher Empire stretched from sea to sea across all Kingdoms of men. The Emperors built outpost and highways to connect even the most remote corners of the Empire, as far north as the Black Mountain Highlands. Endless slopes of pine forests and wilderness cover this area where wild beasts roam the land, and remote mountain villages are the only trace of human activity.

The fortress of Karadan was erected to mark this remote Imperial border, but after the Empire's fall to barbaric invasions two centuries ago, it was overran and has subsequently fallen to ruin.

Legends tell of a highly prized Tasher relic known as the "Conduit” which was hidden at Karadan before the Empire's collapse. An object desired by treasure hunters and royal courts alike the Conduit has been the goal of many expeditions into Karadan; all of which have ended in failure. “The Order of the Crown of Thorns” (The Kingdom’s major religious sect) has hired Asparuh of Leon and Vanek Irongut (heir of Omurtag) to reclaim the relic for the temple. On their way up the mountain they have joined up with Morgan; the witch of the Highlands, who has agreed to help recover the relic in order to save two village boys who have foolishly wondered into the ruin the previous night. Upon their arrival they have found a gory and frightening scene; a goblin camp.

Goblins are a smaller; more conniving breed of orc that lives high in the mountains. Tunneling underground and launching raids from remote campsites, few creatures in the mountains are as deadly as a band of goblins; especially when they are led by a chieftain head-taker.

As fate would have it; the goblin horde has made a permanent camp in Karadan’s ruins, and corrupted creatures have infested its every crevice, making short work of hapless explorers who wonder by. As Asparuh and the goblin Chieftain lock eyes across a field riddled with the remains and impaled heads of those who have come before, time begins to dwindle down for the boys lost in the ruin. Will the party of heroes be able to remove the goblin Menace, save the villagers and recover the mythical conduit?

The poor peasant boys should have known better than to explore Goblin-made tunnels...

Once again, coming to the rescue protagonist Asparuh, this time with his trusted Dwarf companion Vanek Irongut, and Morgan the Witch of the highlands.

The highlands are a beautiful place ... and a very dangerous one as well.

The Goblin Chieftain Head-Taker

The conduit; hundreds have died in an attempt to possess it. It's power unknown, it is still cause for war, expeditions and religious schisms.

Poison-tipped arrows are just the beginning...

I hope you enjoy this!

Yeah, the trees are outstanding. Seeing something so simple a tree made in such interesting and clever ways ob here. Very impressive imaginations we have on this site! Keep up the great work MOCers!

Great job! It is clearly your style, and I like it! I especially love how you shun away from using 'normal' bricks and instead use log bricks, (cheese) slopes etc. Very creative and it adds a particular atmosphere. I also like the fact that your MOCs are medium-sized. PErhaps sounds a bit odd, but that way all the details that you add to them really stand out. Simply stunning MOC once again!

Simply amazing Sirens-Of-Titan!

So many different parts to this MOC, and all so detailed! The pine trees, creak, tunnel, even the curved stairway leading up to the ruins!

There is so much I like about this MOC. The leanig tower, the broken staircase, the treasure room, the river, and the creative characters. All combine to make this a fun MOC to look at.

Well Done! :classic:

Great work.

You made a beautiful river and a wondeful idea for the trees as well.

Not to mention all the little scenes and detailling.

Beautiful MOC, and so nicely presented. I love how you've done the cute little bridge, and the spiky trees are very clever. I also love the use of the 2x1 bricks with technic axle hole - simple but ingenious

What is poor CP3O's head doing in there with the conduit?? Don't tell me that our heros will fight through to finally claim the prize, only to find out that it's just some chump frozen in carbonite!

ps. Awesome build btw! I love builds with stories behind them. :classic:

Oh wow! I love the colours and attention to detail once again S-o-T, The storyline is progressing, but its the quality level of building and photography that tip it way over the edge. The trees are exceptional (a technique I have not seen used before) The sand area with ants is great as is the rest. Very inspiring, and kind of reminds me of Golden Axe and Baldur's Gate.

Thank you ISC I'm glad you like it!

Yeah I know the story is basic and throws a lot of info your way without a real literally tone, but it's actually the condensed version of a rather long into I wrote for it that I thought nobody would read just due to it's size. ( I think anything over 2 paragraphs just escapes most people's attention span )

The photography tuned out much better than my previous MOC's I think I finally got it down with the lighting in the room.

Wonderful MOC Sirens-Of-Titan! The tilted tower was a nice detail you added, and the underground tunnel was nicely detailed and made as well. Can't wait to see more of your MOC's!

Very awesome build Sirens-Of-Titan! These goblins sure know how to employ psychological warfare. The beheaded totems look very imposing, though the 3 heroes don't seem to mind it!

Great Moc,

Lots of details to discover! I Really enjoyed watching it!

The tower really sets the scene with that skeleton hanging from it! And the trees are also wel done, I can use that idea!

(and it's said before but that dwarf:  )
