P4trickvH Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 (edited) My first MOC i'm posting here on EB. I received the last parts a few days back and now got some time to start with the build. I will keep posting images as i progress with the build. For now you can start with guessing what it's going to be. Below are some pictures from the parts i orderd the last few months for this MOC. When the MOC is guessed i will post another collection of pictures from the design in LDD and SR3D Builder. And when it's to hard i will post a picture from the stickers that will go on the model. Oh and to give an impression of the size of the box it's an 18L box. Edited May 16, 2011 by P4trickvH Quote
P4trickvH Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 a tank? Keep guessing, a small additional clue. It has been build before, this is a recreation. Quote
Marckeyh Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Keep guessing, a small additional clue. It has been build before, this is a recreation. Everything has been build before. My guess: a crane Quote

JunkstyleGio Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 (edited) I guess it is going to be a model originally made by Mahjqa... Edited May 16, 2011 by JunkstyleGio Quote
P4trickvH Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 (edited) You guessed right. Now also made the additional images available on my Flickr account, here a few to give a first impression. Edited May 16, 2011 by P4trickvH Quote
Sariel Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 (edited) Last time I checked MOC stood for My Own Construction, not for My Copy Of Mahjqa's Work. Edited May 17, 2011 by Sariel Quote
P4trickvH Posted May 17, 2011 Author Posted May 17, 2011 Oh i always thought MOC was something like "My Own Copy" I like most of his designs and was able to recreated it and i love to share it with all of you. Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 @ Sariel: Since there is no official word for a redo of a MOC, i guess P4trickvH is calling his MOC.... And he is giving credit to whom credit is due... @P4trickvH Did you make your own LDD or did you get some help by Mahjqa? Please give us some more details... Quote

I started of with the LDD file Zblj made and was posted by mahjqa here. I added the double tracks and everything els my self in LDD with the few pictures as reverence posted here. And i made the sleds with only a few pictures as reverence also posted here in SR 3D Builder. Quote
P4trickvH Posted May 17, 2011 Author Posted May 17, 2011 Another day another update, here are some more images from the progress. I also noticed i'm still missing some pieces so had to order them. Building order may seem strange, but thats because i'm using the LDD model and LDD instructions as an guide to build this model. Allready found some weak spots in my constuction of the front and rear and i will improve them as i go. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Looks good but i can see am going to have to get a pair of sunglasses as it is going to be bright orange. Quote

LEGO Guy Bri Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 @ Sariel: Since there is no official word for a redo of a MOC, i guess P4trickvH is calling his MOC.... And he is giving credit to whom credit is due... Looks like a new acronym should be created for that then. Suggest COMOC>copy of my own creation? Still this looks good 'P4trickvH'. Definitely would be cool to have in a collection, especially for when it snows Quote
P4trickvH Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 (edited) How much have you spent so far ? To much, i think around €600-€650. Didn't really keep track i ordered at like 30-40 stores to get all the parts. Edited May 18, 2011 by P4trickvH Quote
