This MOC is based on a scene of the last episode of HBO's Game of Thrones which impressed me very much. Enjoy, but beware of spoilers!

Tyrion Lannister, the imp, was captured by Lady Stark and brought to her sister Lysa Arryn. She resides at the Eyrie, a giant fortress. At this fortress Tyrion is put in a sparse prison cell. There he realise that these cells are no ordinary cells. The fortress is so high, the cells only need three walls to hold the prisoners captive.

The look of this scene was great. I don't know the books so I was really surprised to see the open side of the prison cell and the hundreds of meters to the ground. I tried to capture this feel with some kind of forced perspective. I hope it worked out.

Recently read the book, but haven't seen the show yet. I always envisioned the outside landscape to be covered by snow. Funny.

Nontheless, great rendition.

I'm in the middle of my 4th or 5th re-read of "A Game of Thrones" (don't have HBO, so haven't see the TV series yet). This is a really nice MOC! I envisioned the cell being a bit smaller though.

I always wondered why we don't see more "Song of Ice and Fire"-inspired MOCs. It's a terrific book series. And the heraldry lines up well with TLC's Castle heraldry.

Starks: Wolfpack

Lannisters: Royal Knights

Targaryens: Dragon Knights

Baratheons: Forestmen

Arryns: Black Falcons

I must confess that I did not recognize (or even read) title of this moc, and I've just glens it with an eye and closed it. And then it hit me how familiar it looked, and I connected with TV series that I watched yesterday, for the first time.

There can only be sad "bravo" for Moc that is recognizable without words :)

Well...Bravo! :)

Thank you all for the comments. I'm planning to start reading the books, but at the moment I only know the tv series. Sorry for any inaccuracies. The tv show is fantastic and I can't wait to see the next one.

By the way I build a second MOC for the show: Jon Snow at the Wall. Seems I'm in a GoT building mood  I also have an idea for a MOC featuring Arya, my favorite character.

Very nice MOC. I love the books, haven't seen the show since I don't have HBO. It's good to hear so many people like it, hopefully I'll like it when I finally see it.

This is a great scene, and I think you've done a good job capturing the feeling of it.

I've actually thought of this as well. The different LEGO Castle factions do fit neatly into the GoT world.

Yow! A Song of Ice and Fire moc! I've read all the books already and I'm really enjoying the show. Good job on the Tyrion figure, it looks just like he does on the show.

I'd love for LEGO to make this series into a license theme but with all the adult content I doubt that it will ever happen. :)

Thanks everybody for the comments.

This looks great and your forced perspective works brilliantly - how tall is it really?

Thank you. It was my first attempt at such a perspective. The building is ca. 40cm high. Here is a behind the scene picture of the build. Enjoy.
