Pazoozoo Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Hi guys and gals, I wish to know if there is an alternative for the 10V DC transformer to reload the battery? In France, the reference 8887 is no longer available. Best, Fred. Quote

You can securely use a plain vanilla 12 V DC power supply with > 500 mA output current. Just make sure the polarity is right - the pin in the middle of the plug is "+". I am using a 15 V DC power supply for almost a year now - no problems at all. Regards, Thorsten Quote
Pazoozoo Posted June 17, 2011 Author Posted June 17, 2011 I don't have any 12V stuffs. I've started trains last month. So I have PF trains only. Quote

No, not 12V Lego stuff, he is talking about any standard run of the mill 12 VDC transformer that you can get at Radio Shack or some other electronics store. Its a pretty standard device. Should cost about $10-$15 in the US. Quote
