Nakara Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Unfortunately, those aliens moved too fast . Before I could tell the public, there were already sightings scattered throughout the world of these devious monsters. Among the sightings was a couple on a golf outing. It was all well, according to them until they reached hole 6, where they heard rustling of trees and some mechanical whirring... ...and a war machine of these aliens tore itself through the tree cover and revealed itself to the witnesses. They luckily brought a camera and snapped a few pictures of the beast. Its armament was unlike any of Earth’s, with a steady, even green glow and a single blue “eye”. Whether this is a weapon, a sensor, or both is not known. It was accompanied by a couple other alien troopers that looked different from the one we captured, perhaps signifying a caste system or the variation of physical traits to different roles. As the invasion has begun, there will soon be no way the governments of the world can cover it up. It is time for me to unveil my findings and start peddling my services to the nations of the world... --------------------------------------------------- The golf course without the alien invaders. This was originally intended to be a separate moc in the town forum, but I watched the series premiere of Falling Skies right after I made the course, so... The little “pond” deserves another picture, I think. The camera couldn’t capture it, but in person you can see all the fish and rocks I stuffed beneath the “water”. Quote
Hoboman Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Well done Justin. I love the Alien Walker. Good use of the colors. Quote
Gregorovich Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Ah, I see Colette LeMans and Casey Roswell (wearing Mr. Crusoe's hat and Siegmund Freiburg's clothes) have decided to go for a round of golf . (Escape from Isla Paradisa characters if you didn't already know!) Very nice MOC, though. The pond and the sandpits look great, and the alien robot is really nice and chunky. I'd like to see what youve put under the water. Well done, and thanks for sharing! Quote
Vindicare Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 That mech of yours looks a lot like the dreadnoughts from the W40K world. Was that your inspiration? Very cool nonetheless. Funny little story and presentation, too. :thumbup:x2 Quote

Nakara Posted July 1, 2011 Author Posted July 1, 2011 Thanks for all the nice comments guys! Certainly encourages me to build and post more MOCs on here. And yes, Legocrazy81, the 40k dreadnought was my inspiration for the robot. Quote
