Also, by the spying tools, there would be two of Rita's books (printed, like the old HP books).

Hope you like!

And, as always, if anyone could take screenshots with the shades and the outlines, I would thank him/her a lot.

I absolutely love this! It totally fits with the Diagon alley set!

I love MOCs that look like they could be official sets.

Too often the MOCs tend to be super detailed with all the pegs smoothed out, which while making for cool MOCs, do not fit with the official sets at all.

I love to see MOCs that I could easily incorperate with my official sets.

Wonderfull job on the press.

Can you share the LDD file? I need to get a brick list together so I can go to brick link

I agree with enjoying seeing MOCs that could be incorporated into the normal sets, just so things aren't too different. But the big fancy MOCs are neat as well. But this is definitely a Diagon Alley set that I would purchase.

I like seeing these LDD sets, but I also would like to see it in brick form. It is my goal to build up some of the more prominent Diagon Alley buildings in brick form sooner than later.

I am currently putting pieces together for this, but a word of warning: Some of the parts are simply not available in the colors specified.

Turning dark brown to reddish brown is not that big of a deal, but there are some like Dark green arches, and Dark orange panels that simply don't exist. Pearl Gold is another sticky issue with some things.

Some creative reassigning takes care of most of the issues, and I can not wait to get this one built, but just wanted to let all know you could not just pull a bricklist from LDD and then go to bricklink.

I didn't expect this. One of my MOC's, made into a real one *oh2* !!

You have to let us see it when it's finished. Will you add decals?

I cannot wait to see it.

I fully plan to photoshop some decals :classic:

I will have to experiment on a few builds to bypass the color issues, but i think I will be able to get a very close build to the LDD.

Most disapointing for me was finding the handle piece did not come in pearl gold, so I will have to either put a round peg on it or try one of the colors it does come in.

May take a bit to get the bugs worked out, but you have done most of the hard work so hopefully I'll have some pictures up not too long after the bricklink orders start comming in. (dark Green and Dark orange were not big in my spare piles  )

I should start construction this week, as long as my last brick link order arrives!

I had to order from various stores to get the bits, and some ship faster than others :)

Anyway look forward to posting pics of this.

well the initial build is complete, butsome of my color substitutions were....unfortunate.

many of the elemets simply were never made in the colors specified, so I had to switch some colors or elements, and while some worked well, others looked to piecemeal.

Once I had the model built it was easier to see where the colors or elements simply did not work, so I have had to try some different things with the colors.

Once I get the new order in, I will give it another go.

Just wanted to stop by with an update.

I cannot fit into myself because of the excitement (don't know if that expression exists also in English). How long will that last order take?

You can't contain yourself is probably the closest english expression :sweet:

the orders probably wont be in till next week.

I could show some pictures of it now, but I think it would be better to see it refined.

The press turned out great, even with my substitutions, so no worries there.

here is a teaser keep in mind it is a WIP!
