CorneliusMurdock Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 (edited) If a mod could remove the parenthesis in my topic title, I'd be very grateful. I forgot to delete them before posting. Thanks! The local Sheriff brings a young child to school that was trying to play hooky while the rest of the school kids enjoy recess. The Sheriff's gun belt is from Brickforge. That's the only non-official Lego part used. He shouldn't have tried to skip school. He must be thinking about he mad his parents will be. The teacher goes out to meet them while the school kids have recess. A better shot of the little creek. Tetherball. Looks like someone has to go to the outhouse. I hope he makes it in time. A special thanks to my wife for spending several evenings putting the flowers together with me. Surprisingly time consuming. More pictures on Flickr Edited April 28, 2012 by Tazmaniac Quote
K-Nut Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 (edited) Very nice! Is that a lawn Gnome I see in there? I like the design for the flag. It's also very nice, as is the tree and the duck. Good luck in the contest. Aww. It was a family build. How sweet! But I agree, Flowers are time consuming. Edited August 30, 2011 by K-nut Quote
Master Sam Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 It's definetely the opposite of what I thought of it So, it's not a dusty, broken schoolhouse, no, it's a very clean one which looks amazing! The amount of detail is great, like the little duck swimming through the river. I also like the boy's face expression, looks funny. His first day in school with his angry father behind him. Quote
RunnersDad Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 You did a great job with this. Fantastic attention to detail! Quote
KristofBD Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Very original! Love the idea and the execution as well! And yes the flowers have taken a lot of time, but they do work here. Great job! Quote
