bootz Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 L-LF-3C I had purchased this set partly because I liked the 4x4 so much, but once I had it built, it just wasn't doing it for me. Just the other day, I decided to MOD it and I quite like the outcome, simple as it may be. Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Now I like this redesign and suits the vehicle to a tee ! Though might I make one little suggestion - change one axe for a shovel.....sometimes fire fighting requires a shovel to dig fire breaks and even turn soil over burning embers.....I've watched a lot of fire fighting programs on TV. Anyway, fantastic work 'bootz' and Brick On ! Quote
bootz Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 Thanks LT, I think it looks alot more natural as a closed SUV than as a pickup. Good point on the shovel too, I think I even have a black one somewhere. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Two things 'bootz' where's that shovel and why are there Indian feathers on the fenders for ? Oh, another suggestion - chain saw and first aid kit too ! Brick On Rescue On ! Quote
bootz Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 It didn't quite look right on the hood, I figured with the extra space he could just toss it in the back. The feathers? Because this is the chief's truck, of course. If you notice, I redid the Seagrave as well. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Fair enough, toss it in the back....don't forget the chain saw ! Yes, I just noticed the engine along side, it's better. Oh, what tribe is the fire chief from eh ? Brick On 'bootz' ! Quote
bootz Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 The tribe of the New Legoredo Fire Department. Quote
sneff Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Very nice. I love the tools on the hood. Great work Quote
bootz Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 Lol thank you. The tools on the hood are all Lego though. Quote
ER0L Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Very cool. I like everything about it. Front and back are awesome. It makes you want to try something like it. Quote
