lightningtiger Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I like it, a fusion of the lighting repair truck 2010 and the railway repair truck 2011.....plus a little classic town in it as well ! Nice work 'EM4CZ' and Brick On ! Quote
EM4CZ Posted September 27, 2011 Author Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) Here is some similarity, but the railway truck is different. I still have one vehicle SŽDC, but it does not ride on rails. previous versions with rail chassis. Edited May 14, 2012 by Phred Posted backup images. -Phred Quote
gcanik Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Great design and build, fits perfectly into current LEGO designed vehicles. My only advice would be to match the color of the basket and the lifting arms (thought I don't know if they exist in the same color). Quote

EM4CZ Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 (edited) based on this real truck Road-Rail vehicle PRAGA UV 80 DUOLINER The rail gears are driven by means of hydraulic engines. On and off-tracking is controlled hydraulically. The vehicle is raised during ride on rails. The road axles are hydraulically locked. The vehicle is equipped with stabilizers to stabilize the hydraulic crane while working on the rails. The drive is a two-gear drive – the gear with lower speed and superimposed traction and the gear with higher speed and lower traction. The vehicle is equipped with semiautomatic couplings and towing bars to tow and push the railway wagons. Maximum weight of coupled wagons is 120 tons. The rail gears (with controlled thrust) are controlled from the driver's cab. Edited September 30, 2011 by EM4CZ Quote
