I just want to underline that there is no photoshop effect on this pic.

The BatSignal has been projected during the shooting using a light truth this box

Hope you'll enjoy !

October 14,

New tests with an (invisble) rain and more leds in buildings.

This is still not what I'm looking for but I think I'm on the good way

Next step : More light at the bottom of the buildings to represent the life in the streer

and the batsignal and it will be ok.

Hi all.

I would like to share with you my work in progress.

I've still started to show some details but I've forget to post here... sorry

Here is a first clue:

981633batsy.jpg

Sure that everybody's understand if it's not the case read again the title of the topic !

It's 100% lego made of course !

then, here is one of the last pic (since this time, the moc have a little bit changed!

68657247.jpg

It's 100% lego made too, it's just a cartoon effect on the pic.

About this pic, for the most curious of you, I've added a little game on my blog to find the original pic

It has been hosted and hidden on my blog but you'll need a clue to find it.

"Gorham City is hidden in the bowels of the empire"

the moc is growing step by step, the city became bigger and bigger.

I'll add more pics a soon as possible and try to make it funny untill the last pic.

Hope you'll want to see more !

Waiting for your comments guys !

Wow...although the photo have been treated with a comic effect, it does shows a lot of details of Gotham and features of Art Deco buildings....can't wait to see your final pictures!

Now, that's one great creation! And not only because it's Batman!

Well done! I really like thatGotham skyline. Any chance to see more? And of a bigger scale?

Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) :classic:

This looks like it could be really great, from what you've shown so far.

Also, I hope we'll see some Arkham City creations in this forum with the release of the game soon. :classic:

Looking forward to more pictures.

Very characterful creation with a spot on grasp for the right perspective.

I would love to see more of "your" Gotham. Keep up the good work!

Don't wory, I'll take lot of pics and I'll present more in details some build

Very nice Im looking forward to seeing the end product, will there be more shots of the city at different angles?

All the moc is build for only point of view. The backside of the buildings are open to put led inside. I've only build 2 face each time . So different angle could be not a good thing but I'll show you anyway

AWESOME work so far 'lego-maniac', keep going I want to see :moar: please ! :excited:

Txx LT, hope you'll enjoy the final moc

Great city skyline. Batman is A+ all the way, so this will be a great finished product.

I hope, I hope

thanks all for you sweet comments.

Anybony have an idea to create frog for the final pic ?

I've heard about ice ....?

Ooh, I'm liking! A nice atmospheric scene, combined with some rather unusual "Gotham-y" building designs makes for a very nice result! I shall be following with interest.

I have to say WOW!

Not only are the buildings captured nicely, this is photographic artwork as well.

Your technique is fantastic for this MOC.

thanks Guys

For the final pic, the way will be long.

Here is a shot of the buildings for the most curious of you.

Alone and closely, it's not the moc of the year but mixed with the town and from a far point of view it works !

Hope you'll recongnize the Wayne Tower

The other buildings are not inspired from anything.

638108buidings.jpg

I've try to make 9 different building in their shape and in their way of construction.

For the railway, I've test something :

Hope you'll enjoy !

The buildings look great, just the kind of thing you could see in Gotham. :classic:

I was hoping you would do a monorail track, very clever how you built it.

As much as I would have liked to see a large-scale Gotham, I think the mini-scale is works well. Are you planning on making an Arkham Asylum?

Are you planning on making an Arkham Asylum?

Thanks for your comment

For the Arkham Saylum, no it's not planned. I'm really inspired by the first movie, I do not remember seeing it ?

it appears only in the video game ? (I do not play video game)

please, tell me more about the asylum !

It's really enjoyable to see you peel the Gotham City onion day by day during these few days - something that I've been looking forward to over this weekend.

All the buildings have been constructed nicely in the classic Art Deco style - an excellent representation of Gotham! Please keep building and I think everyone is equally excited to see what the final outcome will looks like.

Thanks again for sharing your great work with us!

let me tell you that this is super amazing!!! You combined two of my favorite things ever in one work: Batman and Lego! awesome!!!

and your buildings are really superb! how big is your creation in real dimensions? it looks huge!

Posted

This is a truly outstanding piece of work. The builds are all very detailed for such a small scale. I think the best point of view would be something like this

batman_hush.jpg

However maybe zoomed out from batman. Another cool perspective might be this

8.jpg

but without nightwing I guess.

I don't think it really matters what yoou do at this stage. Were all going to love the final product regardless!! :sweet:

I'll post at the end an overall view of the installation.

Soke117 / Of course Batsy on a gargoye will be better but too hard to make a real nice gargoye that can be seen on the front.

BTW, you can see a gargoye on the side

I think I'll make a pic with batsy on the cornice, face to the city, the cap in the wind.

Pics you purpose works because your heroes have a really great position. Our minifig are not enought flexible

Heroes running on the cornice is an idea, maybe I'll try it !
