Darkdragon Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 (edited) This is an underwater version of the Western set 6755 Image from Bricklink There's a new Sheriff in town! Many years after the melting of all glaciers in the world, the Spongebob crew found an old rundown sheriff's office and jail. They decided to make it their own. A few more images and larger images on Flickr. There's not really much time to change things for the contest but C&C is welcome. Edited October 5, 2011 by darkdragon Quote
Vindicare Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 (edited) Very cool! First off, what a great-original-set. You did a great job of liquifying it! The "swimming" fish and all the sea life. What's Spongebob up to back there? That's a look of someone up to no good! Edited October 5, 2011 by Legocrazy81 Quote
weltall1028 Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 What's Spongebob up to back there? That's a look of someone up to no good! I bet he's back there laughing obnoxiously as usual. This is a really cool MOC, makes me wanna go get a Spongebob set myself. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Excellent creation 'darkdragon', I guess Squarepants has turned bad....perhaps Plankton is involved ! Brick On ! Quote
Darkdragon Posted October 5, 2011 Author Posted October 5, 2011 Thanks everyone. Glad you like it. Of course Spongebob is up to no good, never trust a sponge. Quote
Hiawatha Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 This is a great idea! It is also very well detailed with the swimming fish, floating jellyfish, and even the skeleton horse! Quote
dr_spock Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Good job. It is like an official SpongeBob set. Quote
Locutis Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Good job 'dark dragon'. I really like how you turned this old west set into a MOC Spongebob set. It really is very well done, and one of my favourites. Good luck! Locutis Quote
Stardusty Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Great job darkdragon. MOC might seem a bit empty from some views, but your wonderfull photography makes all the important photos look so good. Great, great job! Quote
MstrOfPppts Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Outstanding! This is the best entry in my opinion, mostly for two reasons. One is because it's an older set and the Western was one of my favorite themes when I was younger. Second, it's the very clever usage of Spongebob characters instead of the different themes divers, which are quite common in everyone's underwater vision of a set! Of course it's also very well detailed and nicely destructed by the waters ... Great job and good luck in the competition! Quote
