Corioso Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 184A Blue Coats VS pirates! Black beard's pirates were coming ashore. They had no idea that well-armed Blue Coats under command of admiral Forster were awaiting them! The bloody battle began... (I made this work together with Stiker499) Photos at Brickshelf! Quote
Hiawatha Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Nice battle scene! I am glad to see you have an inerest in army building! Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Nice island battle scene. Looks like I'm not the only one who loves their fleshie's. Quote
Bjornu Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Looks really cool and very nice to have a as a display. I saw it about a week ago I can remember, could that be possible ? Greetz Bjornu Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Awesome beach battle scene. The scale works beautifully. Who won? Quote
MstrOfPppts Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Really nice dio, and I too love those fleshies!!! So many ... I just wouldnt't mix in the NBA players, since it gives some pirates the Clonewarish eyes - which I don't mind saperatly, but they don't fit in the mix with the normal eyed guys. For me it's like mixing fleshies with yellow heads. Here the yellow headed guy fits quite nice as a chinese! (: Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 That is awesome. I love your pirates army, so many different figures. They really look like a bunch of savages! The landscape is pretty neat too. You have a nice collection of bluecoats as well. Quote
Horry Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I am really happy that you decided to post this, Corioso! This is a very vivid scene and I really like how you and stiker499 put so much effort into giving every minifig a different action and purpose - the photography is also very nice. I think this should be [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] in the near future! Quote
Captain Roger Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 i love that MOC. I love that customized bluecoats with 2009 shako, and the non-yellow face in all minifigs. I like the way you used Blackbeard too, because is a POTC minifig, but you used him in a non-POTC MOC, and it's correct because BlackBeard is a historic pirate. Great MOC mate... Quote
BrickPerfection Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Nice little battle scene! It's very interesting to see the combination of fleshies and the good old bluecoats! The musketeers fit in quite well too. The variation of torsos and faces for the pirates make them seem quite realistic. Quote
General Gerhard Visothane Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 This is sweet!!! I think I'm going to build something like this! Thank's for the inspiration!!!!! Quote
Captain Heineken Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Very cool. I want to build something like this too. I collected alot soldiers and got alot of pirates, all I need are some tan baseplates.... Quote
