Dennimator Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 V-LV-12A So, after over a year in a Dark Age, I'm finally back. Not so many days ago I was randomly looking at the boxed of LEGO I hadn't touched for so long, then looked out the window at our old Volvo V70. I suddenly felt the urge to build a replica of it in LEGO, but as I had tried that before my Dark Ages and failed, I was thoughtful if I would succeed. I then realized that I had always used the same base for all my car MOCs, and thought to myself, 'Think outside the box.' So I finally sat down and started to build. After three hours (yes this is longer than it usually takes me to build a car), it was complete. And I was actually satisfied with it. My LEGO spark had returned to me, not a second too late. Okay, I think that's enough of my life story. After all, you came here for some pictures, right? Front view Side view Back view. I think it turned out decent. Huh? Interior? Well... Some references: Frontal/side view, Back view Please tell me what you think. Quote

_bIG_fM_ Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Uhh, the back of a Volvo is alway very difficult to build... ... but you did a amazing way! In my opinion a Volvo with it's typically corrugation would look better with a 4wide upper part. You could use a windscreen from TLG, which makes it much easier, or not? Quote
