Gilri Amasan.

Hi alls)

Here is my first entry for the Alien Category 2 for MCW Contest. And I hope you like it.=D

Cost.

About 10-11 dollars.

Other the standard LEGO parts, I used modeling plastic, some paint Citadel different colors, like metallic silver, Goblins Green and Sea Blue.

Inspiration.

Idea of this alien figure came to my head from my childhood. Then I was ten,I very like creepy aliens with different ugly tentacles.

And then I heard about this category in MCW contest,I was really enjoyed!

Backstory.

Gilri Amasan is general of the great Musoni Army.

Now he is staying in the command centre on the Altair Station and directs the actions om the planet Gustaf.

So here is my entry.

All vignette.

It looks super cool!

I think it needs more of the LEGO factor though.

My thoughts exactly. It's a really well crafted figure, but it just doesn't feel like LEGO beyond its scale. I do love ghe facial details, though!

Thanks,guys!I thought about it too.

I calculated yesterday-Gilri Amasan it is 35-36% Lego.No more.

Rules say it needs to be 51% :cry_sad:

I would keep this one, because it's a beautiful piece of art and make a different one for this competition maybe?

How did you calculate that? Just by pieces count (3 LEGO parts vs 6 custom parts or something like that)?

Rules are rules, though

In my opinion, this custom is definetly recognisable as based on official LEGO parts (legs, torso and right arm), so it's clean with the rules.

Just remember you still lack the side view, Fianat!

It's a good design and everything...but...it doesn't look very Legoey if you know what I mean. I know it started off as Lego, but it has to much non Lego on it. Don't take my words offensively, it's just my opinion.
